  • Recruitment for M.Pharm, M.Sc(51 posts) in Research Project at IHBT

    Govt. of Himachal Pradesh took up initiative in early seventies to set up a CSIR lab to make prudential use of the natural resources of the region. After several levels of discussions a formal request was made by then Chief Minister of HP to Vice President, CSIR in 1982 for initiating the matter, and giving final shape to the proposal. The dream of HP government finally came true in 1983 when the foundation stone of this National lab was laid as CSIR Complex Palampur by Prof. Nurul Hasan, former Vice President of CSIR, with then Chief Minister of HP chairing the function.

  • Recruitment for Master’s degree in Life Science at North East Institute of Science & Technology | 18 posts

    CSIR - North East Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat, a constituent establishment of CSIR, is a multidisciplinary institute having research areas like Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Materials Sciences, Engineering Sciences and Geological Sciences, etc. This institute is equipped with sophisticated state-of-art analytical and other equipment to carry out research activities in frontier areas of science & technology. Presently a large number of research activities are being carried out in CSIR and externally funded projects.

    Indian Institute of Technology Indore located in Madhya Pradesh, known as IIT Indore or IITI, is an institute of national importance established by the Government of India in 2009. It is one of the eight new IITs, started by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (India), Government of India. The institution started functioning from 2009-10 in a temporary campus at Institute of Engineering and Technology of Devi Ahilyabai University under mentorship of IIT Bombay. Shri Arjun Singh, the then Union HRD minister, laid the foundation of the permanent campus, spread over an area of around 510-acre (2.1 km2), on 17th February 2009 at Simrol, a location on Khandwa Road about 25 km from the city of Indore.

    National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health (NIRRH), formerly known as Institute for Research in Reproduction is a premier research institute of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It is situated in the vicinity of a number of hospitals and research institutes in central Mumbai. Since its inception in 1970, it has been making vigorous efforts to improve the reproductive health of people through research, education and health care services. The Institute is affiliated to the University of Mumbai which awards degrees to the M.Sc. and Ph.D students in the areas of Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry and Applied Biology. The Institute is one of the few centers in India , which can boast of a team of basic, clinical and operational research scientists and state-of-art laboratories equipped with modern facilities to carry out research on various components of reproductive health.

    A Walk-In-Interview is proposed to be conducted on 18.09.2017 at 9.00 AM – 10.00 A.M. to fill up the following posts on Temporary basis under the adhoc projects. The verification will be only from 9.00 A.M. to 10.00 A.M. and the Interview/Examination will follow at 11.00 A.M. Candidates who fulfil the requisite qualification and wish to appear for the Walk-in-Interview/examination can download the format given in the website. Duly filled in application along with the copies of certificates should be submitted at the time of interview. The Candidates are also required to bring their original certificates for verification.
