Glenmark Expands U.S. Injectables Portfolio with Launch of Generic Olanzapine Injection

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc., USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited, has announced the launch of Olanzapine for Injection, 10 mg/vial, Single-Dose Vial in the United States. The newly launched product is bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to Zyprexa® IntraMuscular Injection 10 mg/vial (NDA 021253) marketed by Cheplapharm Registration GmbH.

The launch further strengthens Glenmark's presence in the institutional injectable medicines segment and supports the company's strategy of expanding its portfolio of high-quality, affordable hospital-based therapies.

According to IQVIA National Sales Perspectives data for the 12-month period ending May 2026, the U.S. market for Zyprexa® IntraMuscular Injection, including all therapeutic equivalents, recorded annual sales of approximately US$25.4 million.

Glenmark stated that its Olanzapine for Injection has been approved only for the indications specified in the company's approved U.S. product label.
