Pimpri Chinchwad is known by many nomenclatures worldwide. Widely famous as Industrial Township, it is also recognized as Detroit of the East with the presence of many national and multinational automobile companies. Blessed with rich cultural heritage and history, Pimpri Chinchwad is the birthplace of many freedom fighters like Chaphekar and Halbe. Shri Chapekar took active part in freedom struggle against oppressive British rule. He was hanged for the assassination of the infamous British officer Walter Charles Rand who had caused distress among the masses and committed atrocities in the Plague hit city of Pune. A monument dedicated to Chaphekar brothers has been erected at the centre of the town.

Students with post graduate degree who do not have a fellowship but have qualified JGEEBILS examination conducted by NCBS/TIFR held on 11th December, 2016 are also eligible to apply. Limited number of fellowship will be provided by NCCS to the selected students, who do not have fellowship from CSIR/DBT/ICMR/UGC/DST-INSPIRE/BINC but have qualified JGEEBILS. These fellowships will follow CSIR guidelines. Application to NCCS Ph.D. programme does not automatically guarantee that a candidate will be shortlisted for interview.

ABSTRACT
Now a day’s medication systems that need frequent dosing are always with problems. So there is thrust in the area of pharmaceutical research to develop novel formulations, which will enhance the therapeutic efficacy of the existing drug. The goal of this study is to provide detailed and different techniques of pelletization such as powder layering, suspension and solution layering, globulation, freeze, extrusion - spheronization, cryopelletization etc. It has some merits, demerits and its characterization as a tool in the multipariculate drug delivery system.etc. It also gives brief idea about the evaluation of pellets and application of pelletization technique. Evaluation of quality of the pellets is discussed with reference to the size distribution, shape, surface morphology, specific surface area, friability and  tensile strength.
