Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) was established at Ludhiana by an act of the Punjab Legislature No. 16 of 2005 notified in the Punjab Government Gazette on August 9, 2005 and it started functioning w.e.f. April 21, 2006 for promoting livestock production, health and prevention of the disease(s) through integrated teaching, research and extension programme(s).

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER) is an Institute of national importance established by an Act of Parliament under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. The main thrust areas of the institute are Tuberculosis, Malaria, Leishmaniasis and Diabetes.

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research(CSIR) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. It is amongst the foremost scientific and industrial research set-ups in the world, having state-of-the-art infrastructure and scientific and technical manpower second to none , CSIR covers practically the entire spectrum of scientific and industrial R&D of national and international importance.

The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt.

Osmania University, established in 1918, is the seventh oldest in India, the third oldest in south India and the first to be established in the erstwhile princely state of Hyderabad. Throughout its existence of over eight decades, it has shown remarkable progress and sustained an integrated development of all faculties. It has significantly contributed to the academic and economic development of not only the region but also of the Country.

Working towards the preparation of articles and pharmacy books (B.Pharm, M.Pharma, Pre-PhD) as per the AICTE syllabus and in search of hard working M.Pharm/Ph.D/Post Doc candidates from all across the country, having great zeal for writing and contributing various chapters for these books as per their interest.
