The Govt. of India have created a separate, dedicated, autonomous institution in the form of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) to deal with matters relating to timely publication of the Indian Pharmacopoeia which is the official book of standards for drug included therein, in terms of the Second Schedule to the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 so as to specify the standards of identify, purity and strength of the drugs imported, manufactured for sale, stocked or exhibited for sale or distributed in India. The mandate of the Commission is to perform, inter-alia, functions such as revision and publication of the Indian Pharmacopoeia and National formulary of India on a regular basis besides providing IP Reference Substances and training to the stakeholders on Pharmacopoeial issues. The Commission has become fully operational from 1st January, 2009 as an Autonomous Body, fully financed by the Central Government with specific budgetary allocations under administrative control of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Walk-in Interview is going to be held on 10th March 2026 for filling up of the vacant positions at Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), an Autonomous organization under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ghaziabad, through Outsourcing Manpower Providing Agency.

Pharmacopoeial Associate
Age: 23-35 years

Essential Qualification : Master degree in Pharmacy / Chemistry / Biochemistry or equivalent.
Desirable : Good knowledge of computer.
Experience:
Minimum 02 years’ experience in;
• Drug testing and analysis of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) / Drug formulations
• Handling of modern analytical instruments, Pharmaceutical Research
• Preparation and maintenance of documents and records as per NABL accreditation and GLP
• Implementation of QMS

• Implementation of QMS

The interested candidates should produce originals along with self-attested copies of all educational qualification certificates including experience certificates and other documentary proofs at the time of interview. The candidate who possesses final year marksheets/provisional certificate/Degree Certificate of the essential qualification is eligible to attend the interview. If more number of candidates turn up for Walk-in- Interview, then it may be continued on the next working day also.
Required documents for verification at the time of interview are as follows;
1. Educational qualification certificates (original).
2. Experience certificates (original).
3. An updated resume.
4. 01 Passport size photograph.
5. Aadhar card (original).
6. One set photocopy of all original documents.
7. Date of birth certificate.
Period of engagement: The tenure of contract will be for period of one year. However, in case the work and conduct of the staff is not found to be satisfactory during the contract tenure, the services may be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof.
General Instructions:
1. The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies and reject/select/cancel of applicant received without assigning any reason.
2. Interview will be conducted at IPC, Ghaziabad. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
3. The candidate is responsible for the correctness of the information provided in the application. If it is found at a later stage that any information given in the application is incorrect/false, the candidature/appointment is liable to be cancelled/terminated.
4. The selected candidate will be informed by the IPC authorized Manpower agency.
5. No further query regarding the selection/rejection of candidate will be entertained in future.
Note : Candidates are requested to report to the venue Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Ghaziabad between 09:00 to 10:00 AM. Latecomers will not be entertained.
