    Candidates who have secured not less than 55% marks at the Masters Degree Examination are eligible to apply for the test/Ph.D admission. Regular teachers from Government/Aided Colleges & University Departments and candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy-layer) and physically handicapped, with 50% marks are eligible to apply for the test.

    Required Research Associate for wet lab experiment in PGIMER

    Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Associate (RA) for an Extramural project entitled “Detection of prognostically important common chimeric fusion transcripts and copy number abnormalities in pediatric B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia” sanctioned by CSIR, New Delhi.     Jiwaji University Gwalior came into existence on May 23, 1964, through M.P. Govt. Ordinance no. 15 of 1963. Late Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the then President of India, laid the foundation stone on 11th December 1964 at a sprawling campus of over 225 acres of land at Naulakha Parade ground. This was a generous contribution of Scindia family, in particular Kailashwasi Maharaja Shrimant Jiwaji Rao Scindia and late Rajmata Shrimati Vijayaraje Scindia. The institution was christened after the name of Kailashwasi Shrimant Jiwajirao Scindia as a standing memorial to his persona. The motto of the university is embedded in its logo Vidyaya Prapyate Tejah.

    Vacancy as Principal Scientific Officer in Golden Jubilee Biotech Park for Women Society

    UNDP-UNIFEM and M.S. SWAMINATHAN RESEARCH FOUNDATION organized a meeting of women scientists and technologists in 1996 at Chennai. The members and experts realized the inherent capabilities of women in management and the need for women entrepreneurship development became a prime concern. It was also felt necessary that resources and strength of women need to be channelised to develop their full potential. In order to give shape to these ideas, the concept for setting up of Women’s Biotechnology Park - a novel approach came up. This was also recognized as one of the priority areas identified by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. On recommendation of the task force on Biotechnology Based Programmes for Women and Rural Development constituted by DBT during 1997-98, the Biotech Park was included among the approved programs, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of India’s Independence.
