Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine Invites Applications for Project Associate-I Position in Bengaluru

The Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (inStem), is a state-of-the-art research institute in Bangalore, India, dedicated to the study of stem cells and regenerative biology with an emphasis on clinical translation. iBRIC-inStem’s mandate is to solve complex problems in areas of stem cell science and tissue regeneration, with disease relevance. Our laboratories offer advanced training and function through collaborative interdisciplinary research programs involving academia and industry.

Applications are invited for a temporary position of Project Associate-1 under the supervision of Prof Maneesha Inamdar, at the Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine, Bengaluru- 560 065.

Project Associate-1
(Remuneration Rs.37,000 plus 27% HRA (Net Qualified)
(Rs.30,000/- Plus 27% HRA (Non-Net Qualified)

Essential Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Life Sciences from a recognised university or equivalent.
Candidate should have experience in molecular cloning, CRISPR/Cas9-based gene editing, microbial culture techniques, protein expression, basic molecular biology and cell biology techniques, immunostaining, imaging, cell culture techniques, data analyses, project updates, literature surveys and presentations on the assigned work.

Age limit: 28 years

Tenure: Contractual appointment for eleven months, renewable based on the requirements and review of progress. Mode of Applications: Only online applications will be accepted. Applications received through any other mode shall stand rejected automatically.
