Established in the year 1978 as an exclusive facility for Small Volume Parenterals (SVPs), Gland Pharma has developed into a progressive and quality conscious organization serving the pharmaceutical needs of diverse markets across the globe.
The Company has world-class & world-scale facilities for injectables set up in collaboration with Vetter Group, Germany. The collaboration with Vetter provides Gland Pharma a technological edge in injectables and specifically in Pre Filled Syringes.

In June, 1948, a young couple, Leslie and Lourdes Fernandez, started a hospital with two beds. From these humble beginnings, it grew to 30 beds and 8 cubicles. In January, 1985, they handed over the hospital to their daughter, Dr. Evita Fernandez. In 1992, the old hospital was razed to the ground. Dr. Leslie and Dr. Lourdes jointly laid the foundation stone for the present hospital on February 12, 1993, the 75th  birthday of Dr. Lourdes.
