Professor
Specialty : Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Pay Scale and Pay Band : 37400-67000 in the grade pay of 10,000

Associate Professor
Specialty : Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Pay Scale and Pay Band : 37400-67000 in the grade pay of 9,000


Assistant Professor
Specialty : Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Pay Scale and Pay Band : 15600-39100 in the grade pay of 6,000

Essential qualification :
1. A. For the post of Professor- Minimum 10 years of experience of teaching and /or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/ Industry with a minimum of 10 publication in the peer reviewed / UGC listed journals and a total research score of Seventy Five as per the criteria given in the UGC guidelines. Good academic record with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) shall be required at the Master’s level in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines for recruitment of teachers at any level.
B. For the post of Associate Professor-Minimum 8 years of experience of teaching and /or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/ Industry with a minimum of 8 publication in the peer reviewed / UGC listed journals and a total research score of Seventy Five as per the criteria given in the UGC guidelines. Good academic record with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) shall be required at the Master’s level in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines for recruitment of teachers at any level.
C. For the post of Assistant Professor- Good academic record with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) shall be required at the Master’s level in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines for recruitment of teachers at any level.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the NET (National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC.
3. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC likes SLET/SET.
4. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible, based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace marks procedures.
5. Relevant grade which is regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed by a recognized university shall also be considered valid at the Master’s level.
6. Ph.D. or post-doctoral research in the allied/relevant discipline. The Ph.D. degree shall be mandatory qualification for the appointment to the post


Relaxation
• Relaxation of 5% shall be provided at the graduate and master’s level for the candidates belonging to SC/ST & Disable candidates.
• Relaxation of 5% shall be provided to the disable candidates. The considerable disability of the candidates is as follows:
(a) Blindness and Low Vision (b) Deaf and Hard Hearing (c) Locomotors disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victim and muscular dystrophy, (d) Autism, Intellectual disability, specific learning disability and mental illness, (e) Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under (a) to (d).
7. Other Backward classes (Non creamy layer) for the purpose of eligibility and assessing good academic record for recruitment.
8. The reservation policy as per the state Government is applicable.

Desirable : A candidates having knowledge and contribute his/her efforts to the educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching learning process.

Specific guidelines in term of Ph.D.
9. The period of time taken by candidates to acquire M.Phil and Ph.D. degree shall not be considered as teaching /research experience to be claimed for appointment to the teaching positions.
10. The period of leave taken for perusing Research Degree i.e. for acquiring Ph.D. degree shall not be counted as teaching experience for the purpose of recruitment.
a. Ph.D. degree of the candidates awarded in regular mode only.
b. Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two examiners.
c. An open Ph.D. viva-voce of the candidate had been conducted.
d. Candidate has published two research paper from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one must be in referred journal.
e. Candidate has made at least two presentations in conference/ seminars based on his/ her Ph.D. work.

• Animation and interaction between teams, themes and disciplines;

• Development of digital and technological skills relevant to education;
• Continuous professional development through effective participation in conference and teaching workshops.

Research
• Scientific production: publication, conferences and other oral communication without publication, other scientific productions specific to the field.
• Advanced impact of research including environmental, social, economic, managerial, educational, cultural.
• Patents;
• Originality and scope of research (themes, National, International).
• Awareness and selectivity of the editorial materials adopted for its publications;
• Launch and participation on in national and international collaborative research projects;
• Reviewer for index newspapers and member in their editorial's team;
• Participation in national and international research development networks;
• Scientific strategy and goals (partnerships policy in research and skill's
• Development, financial means found, etc.)
• Coaching and supervision of Master's or PhD theses.

Development & Service
• Transfer and application of knowledge in its department, and in all areas contributing to the progress of GNSU and its ecosystem;
• Dissemination of scientific and technical information and culture;
• Involvement in partnership relationships and any elements that highlight the interest and commitment of GNSU;
• Strategy and perspective for the GNSU ecosystem (skills development policy, search for means, etc.);
• Motivation to undertake non-educational work for the department, University and Community; community's activities for the University's benefit.
• Involvement in collective, social and cultural activities.
