Post : Project Research Scientist - (Non- Medical)
Interested and eligible candidates may attend Walk-In-Interview for following post(s) (on Contract) under the project entitled “Identification of Genetic Predictors Responsible for Local Failure in Margin- Negative Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma Patients in India” funded by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Candidates are required to carry Bio-data, Recent Passport Size Photograph, Original Documents of PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Experience Certificates, Education Certificates and One Set of Self-Attested Copies of All Certificates on given dates for attending Interview.

Essential Qualification and Experience : Master Degree in Bioinformatics or in any stream of biological Sciences or Life Sciences with minimum 55% marks.
Desirable experience :
1. Candidates having extensive experience in analysis of cancer genomics including analysis on next-generation sequencing (NGS) data from biological and clinical samples for Whole genome/exome sequencing/transcriptomic, targeted sequencing of limited gene panel, and establishment of in- house bioinformatics pipeline for the same.
2. Candidate must have a sound knowledge in Linux, scripting, R programming.
3. Candidates working in academic institutions with minimum 2 years of proven experience will be preferred.
Age Limit : 40 years as on date of interview.
Consolidated Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 61,040/- PM.
The appointment is initially for a period of six months or till the continuation of project, whichever is earlier. The outstation candidates may attend the Interview Online.
