Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is the first University established in 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999 The University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act. 

Online Applications are invited to fill-up the post(s) of Professor and Associate Professor (On Deputation Basis) in the Centre of Excellence in Pharmaceutical Sciences (CEPS) as per following details

Professor (On Deputation)
No of posts : 02 (Pharmaceutics - 01, Pharmacology - 01)
Pay : As per University/Govt. Rules
Essential:
A: (i) Master Degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks and other qualifications as prescribed by UGC/concerned regulatory body/Council for Assistant Professor.
(ii) An eminent Scholar having a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer- reviewed or UGC-listed journals/indexed journals (preferably in Scopus/Web of Science/Thomson Reuters) and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in appendix-ll Table 2 of UGC Regulations dated: 18/07/2018.
(iii) A Minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.
(iv) Registered with State Pharmacy Council.
OR 
B. i) Master Degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks and other qualifications as prescribed by UGC/concerned regulatory body/Council for Assistant Professor.
ii) An outstanding Professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above)/industry, who have made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years’ experience.
iii) Registered with State Pharmacy Council.

Concerned/allied/relevant discipline: -
Pharmacology : Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences with PG Degree in Pharmacology
Pharmaceutics  : Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences with PG Degree in Pharmaceutics
Desirable:
(i) Five years of teaching at the level of Associate Professor.
(ii) PG teaching experience.
(iii) Quality research evidenced by research publications in high impact Q1 journals (Thomson Reuters only).
(iv) Completed research projects as Principal Investigator/Co-principal investigator.

Associate Professor (On Deputation)
No of posts : 02 (Pharmaceutics - 01, Pharmacology - 01)
Pay : As per University/Govt. Rules
Eligibility :
(i) A good Academic record, with a Ph.D. degree in the Concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
(ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
(iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research Score of Seventy-Five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix-ll Table 2 of UGC Regulations dated: 18/07/2018.
(iv) Registered with State Pharmacy Council.
Concerned/allied/relevant discipline: -
Pharmacology : Master’s Degree in Pharmacology & Ph.D. in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Pharmaceutics : Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutics & Ph.D. in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Desirable :
(i) PG teaching experience.
(ii) Quality research evidenced by research publications in high impact journals (Thomson Reuters only)
(iii) Completed research projects as Principal Investigator/Co-principal investigator.
(iv) Patents/Consultancy projects.

Terms & Conditions
1. The norms of UGC Regulations 2018 and the Schedule of PCI Gazette Notification dated 12.11.2014 shall be applicable.
2. The numbers of posts are tentative and may vary as per requirement of University.
3. No column of application should be left blank. Strike out those columns, which are not applicable.
4. All applicants who are presently employed in Government/Semi Govt./Public Sector Undertaking/University/Recognized Educational Institute etc. should apply through proper channel enclosing a certificate from the Government organization stating no Vigilance or Disciplinary case is pending or contemplated against them and also submit a no objection certificate from present employer. Failure to provide the same shall make them ineligible for consideration to the post(s). Application received late shall not be entertained and delay in transit shall be the responsibility of applicant.
5. The educational qualification, age, experience and other conditions of eligibility as stipulated above against the post shall be determined as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
6. Fulfillment of conditions of minimum qualification shall not necessarily entitle any applicant to be called for further process of recruitment.
7. Application Form must also be accompanied by attested copies of all Educational and Professional Qualifications, Experience Certificates. An application, without the said documents is likely to be rejected during the course of screening.
8. In case of large number of applicants, University reserves the right to shortlist applicants in any manner as may be considered appropriate and no reason for rejection shall be communicated.
9. The shortlisted candidate will be called for Document Verification on scheduled date and time as informed by the University on University website as well as through e-mail. At the time of Document Verification, candidates should carry all their original documents and testimonials for verification along with a hardcopy of duly filled-in application form submitted in online mode with a copy of all educational qualifications, reprints of research publications, teaching/working experience certificates/last pay drawn etc. for submission.
10. The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill post advertised, no correspondence, whatsoever, will be entertained from the candidates regarding postal delays, conduct, result and reason for not being shortlisted.

11. Applicants not found suitable for the position applied, may be considered for the next lower position/post/Academic Grade Pay, if available and the University reserves the right not to fill post advertised, if the circumstances so warrant.
12. The University reserves the right to withdraw advertised post(s) at any time without assigning any reason. Any consequential vacancies arising at the time of Interview may also be filled up from the available candidates. 
13. Merely calling the candidate in interview does not entail for selection to the advertised post(s).
14. Full name as per education records shall be mentioned in the application form. If there was change of name at any stage of time, original name may also be mentioned.
15. Appointments shall be made on deputation basis.
16. Employment of the University shall be governed by the rules and regulations, service conditions specified in the Statute/ Ordinance of the University and general conditions of deputation of Govt, as may be notified from time to time.
17. Incomplete/unsigned application/application without photograph/application not in prescribed proforma and those received after closing date shall be rejected without assigning any reason.
18. No documents may be accepted or considered by the University after submission of application form by the candidate and no subsequent request for its change may be considered or granted.
19. In case of any inadvertent mistake on part of the University, in the process of selection, which may be detected at any stage even after the issuance of offer letter, the University reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the applicants.
20. The University shall, in no way, be responsible for any error/omission/commission/suppression of the relevant information by the applicant knowingly/unknowingly/overtly/covertly while filling up the application form and uploading the documents required therein.

21. Candidates having Educational Qualification from Foreign University shall submit equivalence certificate from relevant statutory body like UGC/AICTE/AIU/PCI.
22. Candidature of applicant shall be subjected to verification of testimonials at a subsequent stage.
23. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
24. No TA/DA shall be payable to applicant for any journey performed for attending the interview.
25. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
26. No enquiry personal or in writing for recruitment shall be entertained.
27. Any dispute with regard to this recruitment will be subject to the Courts/Tribunals having jurisdiction over Delhi. 

The hard Copy of the application, duly filled in and complete in all respects, should be submitted in the University or sent by Speed-post, so as to reach to the Deputy Registrar (Recruitment), Room no. 21, Administrative Block, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sector-16C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078 latest by 01.12.2025, by 5.00 PM.
