Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an Institution of National Importance established through an Act of Indian Parliament by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India under the auspices of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology.
Post : Junior Research Fellow
Title of Project : NSF-DBT : Exploiting codon usage bias to maximize the productivity of recombinant Komagataella phaffii.
Duration : Initially for 01 (one) year, may be extended on evaluation.
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. or any other equivalent course in Biotechnology with at least 60% marks. NET or any national-level JRF eligibility test qualified.
Desirable : Experience in handling yeast culture is highly desirable. Skills in molecular biology tools and protein expression are also requisite. Candidate should be hardworking and team player with interpersonal skills.
Age : Below 35 years
Principal Investigator : Dr. Nidhi Adlakha, Associate Professor
Fellowship : Rs. 37,000/- + 27% HRA per month
Walk-in-Interview : 11th March, 2026, 5.00 PM.
