Openings for Pharmacy Officer in Government Hospitals

Applications in the following format are invited from candidates possessing the required qualifications / eligibility for selection to the vacant posts of Veterinary Pharmacy Officer Pay Level-6 (35400-112400) in Government Veterinary Hospitals under Animal Husbandry Department, Uttarakhand.

Pay Scale : Level 6 (35400-112400)

Educational Qualification
(a) Passed Intermediate Examination with Science Subject from Uttarakhand Education and Examination Council or Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council or any qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent to it. Apart from this, high school qualification holders before the implementation of Education Regulation 1991 for Diploma Course in Pharmacy (amended by Education Amendment Regulations, 1994) of Pharmacy Council of India in the state of Uttarakhand will also be eligible. 
(b) The candidate should be a diploma holder in Pharmacy (Allopathy) from a recognized institution.

Other mandatory qualifications- It is also mandatory for the candidate to fulfill the following qualifications for application -
(a) At the time of application, it is mandatory for the candidate to be registered with the Registrar, Uttarakhand Pharmacy Council.
(b) At the time of application, the candidate must be registered with any employment office located in the state of Uttarakhand.
(C) Only those candidates will be eligible to apply who have passed their high school and intermediate or equivalent level education from recognized institutions situated in the state of Uttarakhand.
But
that the personnel working in the military/paramilitary forces and regularly appointed on regular posts in the State Government or any Government/Semi Government institution established under it and such personnel regularly working in Uttarakhand on regular posts in the Central Government or Public Sector Undertakings of the Central Government whose services cannot be transferred outside Uttarakhand, themselves or their husband/wife, as the case may be, and their son/daughter will be eligible to apply for selection to the direct recruitment posts of Group 'C' in the services under the State.


Preferential Qualification
If other things are equal, preference will be given in case of direct recruitment to such candidate,
who-
(a) has obtained "B Certificate" of National Cadet Corps or
(b) has minimum 02 years service experience in Territorial Army.
If the preferential qualification is also equal, the date of birth of the concerned candidates, whichever is earlier, will be placed higher in the merit list.

Reservation
(a) Vertical Reservation:- Candidates of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class and Economically Weaker Section of Uttarakhand will be allowed the benefit of vertical reservation as per the Government orders of the State Government.
(b) Horizontal Reservation- The benefit of horizontal reservation will be allowed as per the Government orders prevailing at the time of appointment. For reservation, it will be necessary to attach a certified photocopy of the certificate issued by the competent authority by the candidate of the concerned category.

Nationality
(a) The candidate should be a citizen of India or
(b) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(c) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or Kenya, Uganda or the former African country of the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanjivar) with the intention of permanently settling in India,
But a candidate belonging to category (b), (c) above should be a person in whose favour an eligibility certificate has been issued by the State Government. Provided further that a candidate belonging to the above category (b) will be required to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Intelligence Branch, Uttarakhand,
Provided also that if a candidate belongs to the above category (c), the certificate of eligibility will not be issued for more than one year and such a candidate will be allowed to remain in service beyond a period of one year on the condition that he acquires Indian citizenship.


Age: - The minimum age should be 18 years and maximum 42 years as on 01 July, 2025. Candidates belonging to reserved categories of Uttarakhand will be allowed relaxation in the maximum age limit as per rules.

Character: - For direct recruitment to any post in the service, the character of the candidate should be such that he is suitable in all respects for employment in government service.
Note:- Persons dismissed by the Union Government or State Government or any local authority owned or controlled by the Union Government or any State Government or by any corporation or body shall not be eligible for appointment to any post in the Service. Persons convicted of offences of moral turpitude shall also not be eligible.

Marital Status: A male candidate who has more than one wife living shall not be eligible for appointment to any post in the Service and neither shall a female candidate who is married to a man who already has a wife living be eligible.

Physical Fitness :- A candidate shall be appointed to any post in the Service only if he is mentally and physically fit and free from all such physical defects which may hinder him in discharging his duties efficiently. On being selected, it shall be mandatory for the candidate to obtain and submit a fitness certificate from the Chief Medical Officer/equivalent Medical Officer in the prescribed form.

General instructions
(1) Application should be made on A4 size paper, the format of application form can also be downloaded from the website of Animal Husbandry Department, Uttarakhand www.ahd.uk.gov.in. Application form submitted on incomplete, unclear and newspaper cuttings and if any attachment is found wrong/incomplete, then the application form will be rejected.
(2) Latest certified passport size photograph must be attached on the application form, otherwise the application form will be rejected.
(3) It is mandatory for the applicant to attach certified photocopies of his educational/technical qualification related certificates and all mark sheets, preferential qualification, date of birth, reservation related and registration in Uttarakhand Pharmacy Council and registration related certificates in any employment office of Uttarakhand state along with the application form.
(4) Along with the application form, a certified photocopy of a valid certificate of registration with the Uttarakhand Pharmacy Council (registration should be valid on the date of application even in case of renewal) must be attached and the registration number and date must be mentioned in the application, otherwise the application form will be rejected.
(5) Along with the application form, the applicant must attach a certified photocopy of a valid certificate of registration with any employment office situated in the state of Uttarakhand (registration should be valid on the date of application even in case of renewal) and the name and registration number of the registration office must be mentioned in the application form. Otherwise the application form of the candidate will be rejected.
(6) The certificate submitted by the candidate must be valid on the last date of submission of the application form.
(7) The application form will be sent by the candidate serving in the government service through proper medium and it will be mandatory to attach the no objection certificate issued by the appointing authority with the application form.
(8) The decision of the Director, Animal Husbandry Department, Uttarakhand regarding the qualification / eligibility of the candidate will be final.
