Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the 23 IITs created to be Centres of Excellence for training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India.  Established as College of Engineering in 1961, the Institute was later declared as an Institution of National Importance under the “Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963” and was renamed as “Indian Institute of Technology Delhi”.

Applications from Indian nationals are invited for Project Appointment under the following project. Appointment shall be on contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

Consolidated Pay-slab / Fellowship :  Rs.47,000-49,000-54,000/-pm plus HRA 24%
Qualifications : Ph.D. in Life Sciences with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
Job Description : Reagent optimization and development of diagnostic assay. Candidates with background in diagnostics assay development will be preferred.

Consolidated Pay-slab / Fellowship :  Rs.35,000/-p.m. plus HRA @ 24% OR Rs.31,000/-p.m. plus HRA @ 24% (for JRF)
Qualifications : 1st class B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with two years of research experience with NET/GATE* qualification. *The requirement of NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF/SRF may be relaxed for the candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).
Job Description : Development of mechanics and electronics for diagnostic assay. Candidates with background in device design and automation will be preferred.

Consolidated Pay-slab / Fellowship :  Rs.35,000/-p.m. plus HRA @ 24% OR Rs.31,000/-p.m. plus HRA @ 24% (for JRF)

The post may be downgraded as per discretion of the Selection Committee if none of the candidate is found suitable for the post.

In case of selection of a retired/superannuated government employee, his/her salary will be fixed as per prevailing IRD norms.
