Laboratory Technician
No of posts : 02 (UR-01, SEBC-01)
Pay level : Level 6 (35,400-1,12,400) Rs. 40,800 Fix pay for five years
Age Limit : 35 Years
Educational Qualification : First Class M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Instrumentation.
OR
First Class B.sc in Life Sciences/ Instrumentation with minimum five years of working and maintenance experience of sophisticated scientific Instruments in the Laboratory.
Desirable : Strong background in Chemistry/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Science / Instrumentation, data acquisition systems and computers. Ability to handle repairing and maintenance work of the instruments.
Assistant Storekeeper
No of posts : 01 (UR-01)
Pay Level : Level 6 (35,400-1,12,400) Rs. 40,800 Fix pay for five years
Age Limit : 35 Years
Educational Qualification : A First-Class Master’s degree in Science (M.Sc) in any branch of Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Microbiology, or any Life Sciences discipline).

Important note
1. Last date for making online application is 10-07-2025, 16:10. Candidates are advised to apply well in advance to avoid last minute rush. No request to extend last date of application shall be entertained.
2. No physical copies of applications should be submitted to university at this stage.
3. Candidates are expected to possess proficiency in English and have willingness to learn Gujarati languages for communication purposes.
4. If candidate has obtained any degree from other university, he/she should provide equivalency criteria for conversion of their score/ CGPA to percentage.
5. If candidate holds foreign university’s degree, they should produce Association of Indian Universities (AIU) equivalency certificate at the time of submission of application.

7. The General Category candidates (Male & Female) are required to pay processing fee of Rs. 400 + taxes, whereas the candidates belonging to EWS, S&EBC/SC/ST/PwD (Male & Female) required to pay processing fee of Rs.200 + Taxes. Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
Note
1. The candidates applying for the Post should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria. Their candidature at all stages is purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If, on verification, at any time before or after final process, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature / appointment will be cancelled.
2. All the candidates who have applied will be called for written examination and result will be declared on University’s website.
3. The University shall, after conducting examination, scrutinize the application in accordance with minimum eligibility criteria of the post.
4. Minimum qualifying standard shall be 40% of marks in written exam for all categories.
5. The candidates having qualifying standard and minimum eligibility criteria, shall be called for document verification in order of merit.
6. The University shall prepare category wise select and wait list in order of merit and same shall be published on University’s website.
7. The waiting list shall be valid for two years from the date of publication on website.
8. Written Examination will comprise of OMR based 100 Multiple Choice Type Questions carrying 100 marks and its duration will be for 90 minutes. Every Question shall be of 1 mark. Candidate shall have to attempt all questions. Every incorrect answer shall carry a negative mark of 0.25.
9. In every question there shall be one option of “Not Attempted”. If the candidate does not intend to answer, he may select this option. If the candidate selects this option, the negative marks shall not be given. However, If the candidate has not selected any of the options given in the question, then it shall carry a negative mark of 0.25.
10. Candidates have to report at least one hour before exam time at Examination Center.
11. Entry in the compound of the examination center with mobile / cell phone/ tablet/ laptop/ electronic gadgets etc. is strictly prohibited.
12. Decision of Recruitment Committee is final: The decision of the Committee in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, penalty for false information, mode of selection process, will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry/correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
13. Candidates seeking reservation benefits available for SC/ ST/ SEBC/ EWS/ PwD must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as per eligibility prescribed. They should also be in possession of the certificates in the prescribed format in support of their claim.
