Walk in Interview for Teachers at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad is A Grade University re-accredited by NAAC, Bangaluru in 2019. The jurisdiction of the University is spread over Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Osmanabad districts.

Online applications in the prescribed format for Walk-In-Interview are invited from the candidates, fulfilling the qualifications as per UGC/AICTE/NCTE norms as the case may be, to work as Teachers on Clock Hour Basis in the University Departments/Courses for academic year 2023-24.

Chemistry Subject
Qualification : M.Sc./ SET/ NET/ Ph.D (Chemistry)

Pharmaceutical Tech. Subject
Qualification : M.Tech. (Pharma)/ M.Pharmacy/ Ph.D (Pharma)


Bio Technology Subject
Qualification : M.Sc./ SET/ NET/ Ph.D.(BioTech)/ M. Pharmacy/ Ph.D. (Pharmacy)

Remuneration to be paid to the Teachers on Clock Hour Basis (CHB) as per Government Resolutions and resolutions passed by Management Council of this university in this regard will be as follows
For UG course
Teacher Theory :- Rs. 500/- per hour Practical :- Rs. 200/- per hour
For PG course
Teacher Theory :- Rs. 600/- per hour Practical :- Rs. 250/- per hour
UG & PG Tutor
Theory :- Rs. 300/- per hour
Practical :- Rs125/- per hour


General / Minimum Qualifications And Instructions
i. Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent Degree from an accredited Foreign University.
ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
iii. Candidates, who have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph. D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.
iv. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in Disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Online applications in prescribed format are to be submitted on University Website bamu.ac.in under Recruitment heading. Original documents and two sets of self attested photocopies of the relevant documents shall be produced at the time of interview.
2. Candidates must read all the instructions before filling the application form. A prescribed format of Application is available on the University Website bamu.ac.in.
3. Application made on plain paper or in the form of bio - data or CV shall not be entertained under any circumstances, whatsoever and same will be rejected summarily. Also, applications received by E-mail and Fax shall not be entertained.
4. Application Form found incomplete in any respect shall be rejected without any notice.
6. For determining “Good Academic Record” the following criteria shall be adopted. a] A candidate holding a Ph.D. Degree should possess at least a Second Class Master’s Degree, or b] A candidate without Ph.D. Degree should possess High Second Class Master’s Degree and Second Class in the Bachelor’s Degree, or c] A candidate not possessing a Ph.D. Degree but possessing Second Class Master’s Degree should have obtained First Class in the Bachelor’s Degree. All qualifications and experience will be considered as on the closing date, i.e. the last date of submission of online form.

7. Self-attested copies of the certificates should be attached in support of information given in the form wherever necessary and serial No. of enclosures attached should be indicated in the respective column given in the form. Any information contained in the attached certificates will not be considered unless it is claimed in the application form. Attach Index.
8. Candidates should attach self-attested copies of Caste Certificate or Caste Validity Certificate and Non - Creamy Layer Certificate wherever applicable. However, the original documents will be verified at the time of interview.
9. Do not attach any original document with the application.
10. Candidates from reserved category who are domiciled outside Maharashtra will be treated as Open category candidates as per the Maharashtra Govt. Circular No. CBS-1290/ 23116/Pra.Kra378/ Mapak.5 dated 24-8-1995.

11. Canvassing in any form for any candidate will result in disqualification of candidature. Impersonation or submission of false/fabricated/tampered documents or making incorrect/false statements by a candidate, shall, in addition to debarring him/her permanently or for a specific period from any employment in the University, will also render him/her liable for criminal prosecution.
12. Disputes related to this advertisement are subject to Aurangabad jurisdiction.
13. The University reserves it’s right to fill up or not to fill up the post or to modify/alter / cancel the advertisement at any stage. Nobody can stake claim in this regard, or cannot appeal in the court. The decision about any dispute, complaint regarding recruitment process shall vest with the Appointing Authority and it will be final. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
14. Applicant will have to attend walk-in-interview at his/ her own expenses.
15. The University shall not be held responsible for postponement or cancellation of scheduled interview for any unforeseen/unavoidable reason.
16. Applications not in prescribed format, will not be considered under any circumstances.
17. Qualifications and experience are as notified by the Government of Maharashtra, University Grants Commission.
18. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not confer any right to be called for walk-in-interview and/or selection.
19. The University reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualification and experience, higher than those prescribed in this advertisement, and as per criteria decided by Selection Committee.
20. The decision of the University in all matters shall be final. No correspondence, whatsoever, shall be entertained from the candidates in connection with the process of selection/interview, and reasons for not being called for interview.

21. Applicants are required to visit the University Website regularly in this matter and any change in respect of the said Advertisement or any Notice to be published for information of the candidates concerned will be notified / published on the University Website bamu.ac.in under Recruitment heading from time to time in future.
22. No alteration in the prescribed format is permitted. Separate sheet should be attached where space is required.
23. In case of recruitment to the teaching posts in the University, in a subject of inter- disciplinary nature where Teachers are drawn from different subjects/ faculties, the recruitment qualifications required for the concerned subject/faculty for the respective post in the University shall be applicable.
24. A relaxation of the minimum marks at the PG level from 55% to 50% for appointment as Assistant Professor may be provided to the candidates who have cleared the JRF examination conducted by UGC/CSIR only prior to 1989, when the minimum marks required to appear for JRF exam were 50%.
25. Equivalent grade B in the 7 point scale, with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E, and F, shall be regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed.
26. A relaxation of 5% may be provided, from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. Degree holders, who have passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19th September 1991.
27. A relaxation of 5% may be provided, from 55% to 50% of the marks, at the Master’s level for SC/ST categories.
28. Reservation will not applicable for appointments of CHB teachers as per Government Resolution no. Sankirna-2021/pra.kra-181/21/vishi-1 dated 17/10/2022.
29. If the candidates from women category are not available, the male candidate from the same category will be considered for selection as per Government Resolution No Sankirna / 1096 / pra. Kra 30 / ka-2 dated 1.8.1997 for appointment.
30. Candidates belonging to specific reserved category from Maharashtra State only shall be considered for reserved post and they are required to submit Caste Certificate/ Caste Validity Certificate at the time of joining, in case it is not submitted along with the application form.
31. Candidates from reserved category who are domiciled outside Maharashtra State will be treated as Open category candidates as per Government Resolution No. CBC-1290 / 23116 / pra. Kra. 378 / mavaka-5 dated 24.08.1995.
32. Separate application for separate post is necessary.
33. Relevant experience and educational qualifications shall be counted as on the last date prescribed for making Online applications, i.e., 26/06/2023.
34. A Fee of 200/- (for Open category) and 100/- (for candidates belonging to reserved categories) towards processing charges (non-refundable) should be paid online through online payment Gateway. Processing fee details are given in the online application form candidate login or the candidate can remit the said amount in the Accounts Section, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and enclose the original Receipt with the application form. The receipt of the payment must be placed / tagged at the top of the application.

HOW TO APPLY
[1] The applicant should apply Online on link bamu.ac.in. Hard Copy in Two sets and completed in all respects, along with necessary documents duly attested shall be submitted at the time of Interview.
[2] The candidate applying for the post of reserved categories should submit Caste Certificate / Caste Validity Certificate issued by competent authority. The appointment of the selected candidate on respective Reserved Category shall be made only after the receipt of Caste/Caste Validity Certificate in the light of Govt. of Maharashtra G. R. No. CBC10/2010/Pr. Kr. 47/mavk-5, dated 26-03-2010.
[3] The candidates belonging to the category VJ (A), NT (B, C, D) and OBC should submit Non- Creamy Layer Certificate issued on or after 01-04-2020 by competent authority for claim under reservation.
[4] 30% of reservation for Women Candidates shall be applicable as per the Women and Child Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra, Resolution . The female candidates belonging to Open Category and seeking Woman reservation are compulsorily required to submit Non - Creamy Layer Certificate issued by competent authority on or after 01-04-2023 along with application form. Non - Creamy Layer Certificate will not be required for SC, ST candidates.
