Essential Criteria : i) Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized institute.
ii) Must be registered in the West Bengal Pharmacy Council.
Desirable Criteria : Community candidates from HIV infected and affected as well as key communities.
Essential Experience : i) Three (03) years' of health experience for Diploma holder.
ii) Good Working knowledge of MS Office.
Age (as on 01/01/2026) : 60 years or less
Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 21,000 /- per month
Mode of Selection : It may be four stages of selection process. 1. Screening of documents, 2. Written Test, 3. Computer Test & 4. Interview. Final selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained in written test, computer test and interview.
Scale of Scoring : Full marks = 100
Written Test = 70
Computer Test = 20
Interview = 10
General Information for the Applicants/ Candidates
1. For above mentioned positions the applicant must be permanent resident of West Bengal. If any District/Sub-Division/Block/ULB specified for, residence must be mentioned.
2. The applicant must have proficiency in Bengali / local language and dialect.
3. Degree through Govt. Affiliated Distant Learning Course or from any Govt. Affiliated Open University will also be entertained.
4. Candidates working in Government Organization must route their application through proper channel if their departmental rules require so and produce NOC in original at the time interview.
5. Applicants are requested to visit at https://wbhealth.gov.in for online application link and for information / instruction issued from time to time. No other correspondence will be done from this end.
6. Hard copy / Print copy of online registration form must be downloaded from the link hr.wbhealth.gov.in/Index.aspx->"Application Print” and should be retained by all applicants for document verification purpose. Without printed registration form, no candidates will be entertained for original testimonials verification by the authority. No need to send hard copy / print copy of the online registration form by post as it will not be entertained.
7. Online registration number should be retained by all applicants for future reference. Employer is not liable to give any information regarding the online registration number in future.
8. Applications will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in educational qualification and experience. Only short-listed candidates will be called for Verification / Written test / Computer Test / Interview whichever applicable.
9. The essential qualifications mentioned are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle the candidate to claim selection. All the essential qualification} must be completed on or before the first date of online application.
10. Experience will be calculated after obtaining the required qualification for the above-mentioned position, till the first date of online application. All the post qualification experience certificates issued and stamped by the appropriate authority starting from oldest to latest mentioning the dates of working period.
11. Marks of 10th grade will be calculated excluding additional/optional subject and marks of 10+2 grade will be calculated on the basis of best of five, excluding compulsory subjects.
12. No rounding off of marks will be granted. Proportionate marking up to 2 decimal points will be considered.
13. Wherever CGPA/OGPA/DGPA or Letter Grade in a diploma is awarded, its equivalent percentage of marks as per norms adopted by University / Institute is required to be indicated in the application form. A copy of such formula is to be attached along with the Mark sheets when asked for.
14. If the aggregated marks after final selection is equal then preference is to be given to the candidate inter se- senior in age as on the 1st date of the year of publication of advertisement.
15. Registration of the respective Council / Board (wherever applicable) must be obtained on or before the first date of online application from West Bengal only.
16. For medical students graduated from foreign medical institutions, only the marks obtained in the FMGE shall be considered as the academic merit equivalent to MBBS. No other foreign academic score will be accepted for merit evaluation.
17. Caste/EWS certificate issued on or before the first date of online application by the competent authorities of West Bengal will only be accepted. No claim for being a member of the SC/ST/OBC/EWS shall be entertained after submission of application.
18. Only digitized caste / PwD certificate will be accepted and no hand-written caste / PwD certificate will be accepted.
19. The eligibility of the candidate for applying as Other Backward Classes (Category-A and Category-B) shall be guided by the following Notifications and other subsequent Notifications if issued, by Backward Classes Welfare Deptt, Govt, of West Bengal till on or before the first date of online application for this Advertisement.
20. The enforcement of these notifications is dependent on the results of any ongoing legal cases in the relevant court, and the DH&FWS will comply with any orders that result from these proceedings. However, the operation of abovementioned Notifications will be subject to outcome of pending legal proceedings in competent Court of Law and DH&FWS shall abide by such Order, if any, arising out of such legal proceedings.
21. EWS certificate issued on or before the first date of online application, by the component authorities of West Bengal only will be accepted. Memorandum of the BCW Department, Govt of West Bengal vide Memo No: 959-BCW/MR-52/2019 dated 18.05.2023 and Notification of the Labour Department, Govt of West Bengal vide Memo No: 18/Emp(EC)/Labr/27011(20)/l/2020-EC dated 07.02.2023 will be followed
22. Only online applications will be accepted. Application forms not properly filled in or incomplete application forms are liable to be cancelled. If the online application details submitted by the applicant differ with the original testimonials, that application shall be liable to be cancelled.
23. If proper signature and photograph is not uploaded at the time of online application that application shall also be cancelled.
24. Original documents in support of candidature will be verified during the session on verification of testimonials, if shortlisted. In addition to the original documents, candidates must also bring the printout of application form along with photocopies of supporting documents at the time of verification.
25. The candidates, who are not eligible after verification process, will not be consider for the subsequent stages of the selection process.
26. A valid/active e-mail ID and mobile number with validity for a minimum period of one year is a must. Only this email ID and mobile number will be considered for all future correspondences (if required).
27. An application once saved and submitted cannot be changed or edited.
28. In case of change of candidate’s surname, a copy of certificate of marriage / an affidavit sworn before the First-Class Judicial Magistrate, stating the change of surname must be produced in time of verification of testimonials.
29. Panel of candidate will be valid for one year from the date of approval and if any consecutive vacancy generated due to un-join/resignation/termination/retirement will be filled in from the available panel within the stipulated period. Number of vacancies indicated in advertisement likely to increase as per approval from the competent authority - if so, those posts are to be filled up from the existing panel.
30. The decision of the Competent Authority regarding the recruitment is final. The competent authorities may cancel the recruitment process at any stage of the selection process.
31.
