Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) is an apex research organization under Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India which undertakes, coordinates, develops, disseminates and promotes scientific research in Homoeopathy.   The Headquarters of the Council are situated in New Delhi and multi-centric research is conducted through a network of 23 institutes/units all over India.  The Council formulates and conducts research programs/projects; collaborates with national and international institutes of excellence to undertake evidence based research in fundamental and applied aspects of Homoeopathy; monitors extra mural researches and propagates the research findings through monographs, journals, newsletters, I.E.&C. materials, seminars/workshops. Studies comply with the modern scientific parameters and research is undertaken with the goal that the outcome of research translates into practice and the benefit of the research is extended to the profession and the public.

Post : Research Officer (Pharmacology)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of 01 (one) post of Research Officer (Pharmacology) [Group-A Pay Band-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/-(6th CPC) - Level-10 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC], The details about the age, educational qualifications, and other terms and conditions are available on the website of the Council, ccrhindia.nic.in

Pay Band and Grade Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/- (6th CPC) [Level-10 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC].

Age : Not exceeding 40 years (Relaxable for Government Servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government).

Educational and other Qualifications:
Essential:
i. Master’s Degree in Science in Pharmacology or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy with specialization in Pharmacology from a recognized University/Institute.

ii.    03 (three) years research/teaching experience in the relevant field in a recognized University/Institution after obtaining Master’s Degree. Desirable: Ph. D from a recognized University/Institute.

 

Job requirements:
a. Development and implementation of homoeopathic drug research studies for pharmacological evaluation through animal experimentation.

b. Overview and monitoring of drug standardization studies.

c.  Coordination and liaison with institutes/organizations for conducting pharmacology studies.

d.Coordination with homoeopathic pharmacopoeia committee for input of monographs into Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia of India.

e.  Development of research based publications.

f.  Capacity building of scientists and any other work assigned by the authority.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1.Last date: The last date for receipt of application is 29th January, 2018.
The application received after the last date OR without requisite fee will be summarily rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. If the last date happens to be a holiday, it will stand extended to the next working dav.

2.The competent authority reserves the right to extend the closing date for receipt of applications and also reserves the right to postpone/cancel the recruitment exercise for the post at any stage of recruitment.

3. General and OBC : Rs. 1500/-.
Women/SC/ST/Physically handicapped : Rs. 500/-.
Fee is to be paid in the form Demand Draft or Pay Order, to be drawn in favour of ‘Director General, CCRH’ and payable at New Delhi. Fees once paid will not be refunded nor adjusted in future recruitment. Applications received without requisite fee will be summarily rejected. Receipt of application accompanied with requisite fee, will be acknowledged through e-mail only.

4. Eligibility of the candidate including maximum age limit will be counted as on the closing date.

5. Application Form and Documents: Self-attested copies of the following documents are required to be submitted along with the Application Form:

a. Application: The application should be in the prescribed format (Annex-1) duly completed in ail respects and all pages, including enclosures, signed and continuously numbered.

b. Proof of Age: Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent certificate issued by State/Central Board of Secondary Education indicating Date of Birth or Mark- sheet of Matriculation/10lh Standard or equivalent issued by Central/State Board indicating Date of Birth.

c. Educational qualifications: Mark-sheets and degree certificates of both Bachelor and Master’s Degree.

d. Caste/Tribe: As per the formats prescribed by the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India for employment under the Central Government - specimen form enclosed (Annex-3).

e. Physically handicapped candidates are required to submit certificate in the prescribed format from the competent medical authority indicating the degree of physical disability as 40% or more.

f. Application fee: Should mention the relevant details in the application form. The DD/Pay order should be properly attached on the front page of Application form. The candidate should write his name, address and telephone no. on the back of the DD/Pay order.

g. Experience: Experience indicated by the candidate in the Application Form should be supported by certificates from the concerned institutions.

h. Original certificates are required to be produced at the time of interview.

6. The applications in the prescribed format duly completed in all respects, should reach the Director General, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, 61-65, Institutional Area, Opposite D-Block, Janakpuri, New Delhi-110058 by the prescribed closing date. The candidates should also fill up the relevant columns of Admission Ticket (Annex-2) and submit the same alongwith the application form. The candidates should mention “Application for the post of Research Officer (Pharmacology)” in bold letters on top of the envelope.

7. The upper age limit is relaxable for Government servants as per Government of India (DoPT) orders. A candidate seeking age relaxation under this category would have to produce a certificate issued after the date of advertisement from his/her employer on the office letter head as per the proforma attached (Annex-4). The age relaxation will be admissible to such Government servants as are working in posts which are in the same line or allied cadres and where a relationship could be established that his service already rendered in a particular post will be useful for the efficient discharge of the duties of the post the recruitment of which has been advertised.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
8. Selection will be made through a written test (MCQ) and interview.

9. Written Test will consist of Multiple Choice Questions. There will be negative marking (0.25%) for wrong answers. The language of the Questions will be English.

10. Interview: This will comprise 30 (thirty) marks.

SCHEDULE OF WRITTEN TEST:
11. Details of the date and venue of test and interview will be notified later on.

INTERVIEW:
12. Based on the performance in MCQ Test paper, the candidates in the ratio of 1:5 will be invited for Interview.

MISCELLANEOUS:
13. A provisional scrutiny of the application will be made and details of such scrutiny will be made available to the candidate through e-mail. An opportunity will be given to the candidates to represent against rejection of their application.

14. At the time of interview, the candidates will be required to produce all the original documents for verification and No Objection Certificate from their employer. Failure to produce original documents/NOC will render the candidates ineligible to appear for the interview.

15. The number of vacancies may vary subject to the requirement at the stage of final selection.

16. The jurisdiction for all legal matters for this recruitment will be exclusively at New Delhi and legal cases filed (if any) in other courts will not be maintainable.

17. Council will not be held responsible for any postal delay.

18. Candidates are requested to see Council’s website (ccrhindia.nic.in) on regular basis for any new announcement in this regard. Any new announcement will be made only through the website of the Council.

19. The appointment will be subject to medical examination and verification of character and antecedents of the candidates from the competent authorities.

20. The selected candidates will be governed by the Rules and Regulations as are applicable to other employees of the Council and necessary undertakings will have to be given before appointment.

21. New Pension Scheme (NPS), 2004 will be applicable.

22. The candidates selected for appointment are liable to be transferred anywhere in India.

23. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending written test and Interview.

24. Canvassing through any source will lead to disqualification of the concerned candidate.
