Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) is the first Pharmacy University in India and third in the world, established by Act 07 of 2008 State legislature of Delhi and functional from 2015. It is 100% grant-in-aid State Government University recognized under 2f and Section 22 of the UGC. The University has the legacy of 57 years starting with the D. Pharm. in polytechnic in 1964 to College of Pharmacy in 1972 and then the institute Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) in 2004 that got converted into DPSRU as it stands now.

First Class Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences/ Biomedical Sciences & Engineering / Computational Science/ Life Sciences / Chemistry/ Genetics/ Pharmacy / Biochemistry / Biotechnology/ Toxicology / Microbiology / Bio Statistics / Statistics/ Medical Microbiology/ Medical Biotechnology/ Medical Biochemistry/ Molecular Medicine and Biotechnology from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university'.
3. The National Eligibility Test (NET) from UGC/ICMR/CSIR/DBT/DST or an accredited test (State Level Eligibility Test SLET/SET) shall remain the minimum eligibility for appointment of Assistant Professor.
4. Provided that candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulation, 2009, or the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D Degree) Regulation,2016, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:
a) The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in regular mode only;
b) The Ph.D. thesis has been awarded by at least two external examiners;
c) An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted;
d) The candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one is in a refereed journal;
e) The candidate has presented at least two papers, based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.
Clinical Research Essential Qualification: -
1. First Class in Master’s degree in Clinical Research with Ph.D. degree in any of Pharmacy/Clinical Research subjects.
Minimum one year of teaching/research/industrial experience from Institute/ Research/ Laboratories/ Industries of National/International repute.
Artificial Intelligence in Medicine Essential Qualification: -
1 First Class Bachelor Degree in Science/ Medical Artificial Intelligence or equivalent.

2. Minimum one-year experience in Teaching/Industry/Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent in Pharm. Biotech.
3. Candidates with 5 years significant experience from Industry/ Profession and Professional work with first class Master s Degree in pharm. Biotech will be considered in lieu of Ph.D.
Desirable Qualification: -

Executive M.Pharm Essential Qualification: -

General Instructions
1. Candidates of only Indian Nationality can apply for these posts.
2. A) Upper age limit for Faculty on Short Term Appointment is as follows
i. UR category: 40 years
ii. Posts reserved for SC category: 45 years
iii. Posts reserved for ST category: 45 years
iv. Posts reserved for OBC (NCL) category: 43 years (Age relaxation will be as per Govt, norms)
B) For OBC (NCL) category the certificates issued by the GNCTD only will be considered
C) For EWS, SC, ST category the terms and conditions issued by the Government will be followed.
D) Upper age limit for Guest faculty is 69 years subject to maximum engagement of 70 years of age.
3. Age will be reckoned on the date of walk-in interview.
4. Consolidated Salary for Faculty on Short Term Appointment is Rs .89,435/- (not eligible for any other allowance, pension, and gratuity etc).
5. The Honorarium for Guest Faculty will be as per UGC guidelines (No. F. 25-1/2018(PS/MISC.) dated 28.01.2019 i.e. Rs.1500/- per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs.50,000/- per month, (not eligible for any other allowance, pension, gratuity and leave etc).
6. Candidates should read carefully the requisite essential qualifications, age, experience criteria, etc., laid down in the advertisement before applying for the relevant post. The candidates must satisfy themselves of die suitability for the position to which they are applying. If at any stage during the recruitment and selection process, if it is found that candidates have furnished false or wrong information, their candidature will be rejected.
7. a) Interested candidates may attend the walk-in interview along with the filled in application form downloaded from the website along with original proof of date of birth, educational qualification, experience certificates and should also bring set and photocopies of all certificates/documents and 2 passport size photographs.
b) Candidates are advised to fill the application form digitally. All columns must be filled in the application form, no column should be left blank. Instead, it should be marked as "N.A” wherever not applicable. Manually written applications (except forwarding note) will not be considered.

9. No TA/DA and accommodation shall be provided for attending the Presentation/Persona interview.
10. Mode of Selection; The selection process consists of Presentation/Personal Interview or o Candidates are advised to visit the Website dpsru.edu.in/ regularly. A Candidate s admission to the Presentation/Personal Interview and subsequent process is strictly provisional. DPSRU would be free to reject any application, at any stage of the process, cancel the candidature of the candidate in case it is detected at any stage that a candidate docs not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or t at lie/she has famished any incorrect/false information/Certificate/documents or has suppressed any material fact (s). If any of these shortcomings is/are detected after appointment in the DPSRU, their services are liable to be summarily terminated.
11. The University reserves the right to: (a) Withdraw the advertisement either partly or wholly at any time without assigning any reason to this effect (b) Fill or not to fill up the post advertised for any reasons whatsoever (c) Increase/Decrease the number of posts without giving any reason, (d) Any addition/deletion and changes in matter of terms and conditions given in this notification of recruitment (e) Hold Presentation and/or Interview for selection, whenever circumstances so warrant.
12. In case of any corrigendum/addendum pertaining to this advertisement, the same shall be published in die University's website only. Accordingly, all applicants in their own interests are advised to visit regularly the University’s Website.
13. Guidelines relating to recruitment rules shall be followed as per DPSRU Act, 2008 and Statutes as amended from time to time. Reservation policy for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) and EWS shall be as per Govt Norms.
14. Certificate in support of Experience should be in proper format i.e, it should be on the organization letter head bearing the date of issue, specific period of work (in DD/MM/YY) Name, Designation and Signature of the Administration Authorities alongwith.
15. No person shall be recruited unless he/she in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect that is likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his/her official duties.
16. After joining the service of the DPSRU, the persons will have to abide by the Rules, Regulations, Ordinances, Statutes and Act of the DPSRU applicable from time to time. He / She may be assigned any duty within or outside the DPSRU depending upon the exigency of the work.
17. Candidates who have obtained degrees/diplomas/certificates for various courses from any Institution declared fake / de-recognized by the UGC/AICTE/PCI shall not be eligible for being considered for recruitment to the post advertised.
18. In case any dispute arises on account of interpretation of clauses in any version of this Advertisement other than English, the English version available on the DPSRU Website shall prevail.
19. Any dispute arising out of this Advertisement including the recruitment process shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the Courts situated at Delhi only
20. CANVASSING IN ANY FORM MAY LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION OF THE CANDIDATURE.
21. Candidates shall have to produce original testimonials at the time of Presentation/Interview, failing which the Presentation/Interview will not be allowed. The original Certificates/Degrees, etc., of the candidate(s) are subject to verification before joining, in case of selection.
22. Selected candidates have to join the post immediately (within 7 days on receipt of offer of appointment). No extension of joining time is permitted.
