Post: Assistant Manager, Planning & Warehouse

Job Description
The Incumbent is the member of the Planning and Warehouse functions at the Plant,
1. Accountable for Materials Planning,
2. Accountable for dispensing of materials as per the Batch Manufacturing Records
3. Coordinate with Quality Unit for releases of materials and Finish goods
4. Accountable for dispatches of Goods to the various depots as per the allocation Accountable for day today functioning of Warehouse Department.
5. Accountable for managing daily operation of Engineering Store.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To ensure compliance with applicable Pfizer Quality standards, Good Practice Bulletins and Standard operating procedures and Current Good manufacturing practices as applicable for the dept.
2. To prepare and execution of monthly and weekly dispatch plan.
3. To prepare and execution of monthly and weekly dispensing plan
4. To coordinate with distribution for daily dispatch
5. To coordinate with Manufacturing/QA dept for daily dispensing of materials
6. To prepare shortage report of RM/PM for the month
7. To co-ordinate with Purchase dept for timely delivery of material.
8. To identify, raise change Control forms, follow up for approval and effecting of SOPs in the dept. and to carry out training on departmental SOPs.
9. To supervise proper receipt, loading and unloading, storage, issue, labeling, dispensing of RM/PM as per the applicable procedures.
10. To supervise dispensing of Material to production dept.
11. Documentation of Activity that performed like BMR updating
12. To conduct physical verification and report the deviation found
13. Take the Month end reports from ERP system as per the requirement
14. To Coordinate with Scrap Contractor and supervise the scrap disposal process
15. To work for any MSQA,Regulatory, Internal Audit, Finance .EHS audits / assessments/inspections and attend to the auditors, compliance of audit points thereof.
16. To monitor team progress, resolve issues if any arising from day to day activities.
17. To ensure proper Housekeeping and Pest control in the department and maintaining documentation thereof in liaison with Administration dept.
18. To review fire fighting arrangements in the dept in co –ordination with EHS dept,
19. To ensure propose environmental control in the dept and liaison with Engineering dept for deviations if any, To initiate QAR ( Quality Assurance Report) case of any unplanned deviations /excursions and follow up thereof.
20. To initiate write off requests and follow up with Finance/Commercial / QA Dept for disposal of rejected/recalled/withdraw/obsolete/expired material as per the applicable procedures.
21. To conduct department safety committee meetings.
22. To reviews, course curriculums, missing requirements, Training history, and Individual Training plan of Management associate of departments.
23. To ensure adherence and compliance to Pfizer EHS requirements and participation of employees in EHS programs, safety meetings.
24. To ensure safe working conditions and safe work practices to ensure accident free operations and proactively report EHS issues and Near Misses Reports.
25. To ensure adherence and compliance to ISO 9001/14001, OHSAS 18001 and ICH requirements.
26. To ensure discipline in the department and handle grievances of employee if any.
27. To appraise, counsel, guide, provide feedback, monitor and evaluate performance of the management Associates.

Skills / Knowledge / Qualification / Experience:
1. B. Pharm / M. Pharm
2. Minimum 7 years of Experience in similar domain.
3. Knowledge of good ERP systems.
4. People managements
5. Good knowledge of cGMP, ISO, ICH guidelines.
