Research positions for Pharma candidates under CoE project at CARI

National Vrkshayuuveda Research Institute (NVARI) Jhansi established in the year 1973, renamed as Central Ayurveda Research Institute in Dec 2020, is engaged in the research with the focus mandate, i. conduct medicio-botanical exploration in parts of Central India ii. Collect and supply genuine raw drug materials for R&D work iii. To build up repositories for medicinal plants and crude drugs iv. To established herbal garden and carrying out cultivation of medicinal plants for Ayurveda. The Institute has developed a good herbarium where more than 24000 accessioned specimens of 205 families, 1129 genera and 2563 species are housed and maintained.

Walk-in-Interview for the following posts under "CoE" project will be held at Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Jhansi on 24.03.2026 at 10.00 AM onwards as per details given below.

Research Associate (II) – 01 (Chemistry / Pharmaceutical)
Salary : Rs. 61000/- per month + HRA as admissible)
Qualifications Essential: PhD in chemistry/material sciences/Pharmaceutical Sciences OR M. Pharm having 03 years of research, design and development experience with at least three research papers in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal in high impact factor.
Desirable : Preference will be given to those who possess :
1. Higher qualification in a relevant subject.
2. Candidates having experience in advanced instrumentation viz. HPLC, HPTLC, LC-MS, ICP-OES, XRD, SEM-EDAX etc.),
3. Skill of drafting and editing of scientific documents/articles/ technical reports etc.
Age Limit : 40 years

Research Associate (I) – 01 (Ayurveda/ Pharmaceutical)
Salary : Rs. 58000/- per month + HRA as admissible
Qualifications Essential : MD in Rasashastra / PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences OR M.Pharm/ M. Pharma (Ayu) having 03 years of research, and design and development experience with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal in high impact factor.
Desirable : Preference will be given to those who possess:
1. Higher qualification in a relevant subject.
2. Industry skills w.r.t. Rasashastra or material (metals and minerals) for preparation of classical mineral formulations.
3. Candidates having experience in advanced instrumentation viz. HPLC, HPTLC, LC-MS, ICP-OES, XRD, SEM-EDAX etc.),
4. Skill of drafting and editing of scientific documents/articles/ technical reports etc.
Age Limit : 40 years

Senior Project Associate - 03 (Chem./Pharma. /Ayu.)
Salary : Rs. 42000/- per month + HRA as admissible)
Qualifications Essential: (i) Master's Degree in Natural Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent; and
(ii) Four years’ experience in the field of Research and Development OR M. Pharm./ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University/Institution
OR
Essential : (i) Master's Degree in Natural Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent with NET-CSIR/ GATE/ GPAT etc; and (ii) Two years’ experience in the field of Research and Development
Desirable : Preference will be given to those who possess:
1. Higher qualification in a relevant subject.
2. Candidates having experience in advanced instrumentation viz. HPLC, HPTLC, LC-MS, ICP-OES, XRD, SEM-EDAX etc.).
3. Skill of drafting and editing of scientific documents/articles/ technical reports etc
Age Limit : 35 years

Project Technical Support I (03)
Salary : Rs. 18000/- per month + HRA as admissible)
Qualifications Essential : Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences with one years' experience in the relevant subject preferably in Ayurveda Pharmacy. OR 10+2 with Sciences background with three years' experience in the field of Research and Development preferably in Ayurveda Pharmacy. OR 10th + Diploma (MLT/DMLT / ITI or equivalent) + two Years experience in relevant subject / field preferably in Ayurveda Pharmacy.
Desirable : Preference will be given to those who possess:
1. Candidate Having Relevant Experience in Ayurveda Pharmacy Formulation Preparations.
2. Higher qualification in a relevant subject.
3. Candidates having experience in advanced instrumentation viz. Ayush Pharmacy/QC etc.).
4. Prior experience in Ayush Pharmacy/laboratory/office support and having driving license of Heavy Motors Vehicle.
Age Limit : 35 years

General Terms and conditions
1. The engagement would be purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project and no claim for continuance of regular appointment will be entertained
2. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on 01.01.2026 & Relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC etc. candidates as per Govt, of India Rules.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
