PCI Unveils Four Major Initiatives to Transform Pharmacy Education, Research and Career Opportunities

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has introduced four major initiatives aimed at strengthening pharmacy education, research and professional development in India. The initiatives were unveiled at CAPSULE 4.0 and include the new M.Pharm (Medical Devices) programme, Research Promotion Scheme (RPS), Doctoral Fellowship Scheme (PDFS) and Pharmacy Awards.

The Main Examination for the selection of Pharmacists, under the Commission's Advertisement No. 01-Exam/2026 (Pharmacist Main Exam (PET-2025)/02), was conducted on June 29, 2026. Subsequently, via the Commission's important notice dated July 1, 2026, the provisional answer key for the said written examination was uploaded to the Commission's website for candidates' review; furthermore, via the important notice dated July 2, 2026, a link was provided on the website to submit objections (if any) regarding the provisional answer key
