Advertisement for Pharmacist under District Health & Family Welfare Samity

As per order of Mission Director, NHM & Secretary, H&FW Department, Govt, of W.B. vide memo no. HFW-27011/349/2026/3025 dated 29/09/2026 and as per approval of District Level Selection Committee, DH&FWS, Purba Bardhaman, the recruitment process of Staff Nurse under NUHM vide recruitment notice no. 1029/DH&FWS/II-4 dated 8th December, 2025 has been cancelled.

Now as per order as mentioned above and as per approval of District Level Selection Committee, DH&FWS, Purba Bardhaman and Office of the CMOH & DH&FWS, Purba Bardhaman is inviting online Applications for engagement (on contractual basis) of the following vacant posts of Pharmacist and Staff Nurse for Urban Primary Health Center (U-PHC) at Kalna, Katwa, & Burdwan ULB (Municipality) of Purba Bardhaman district under NUHM as follows:

Essential Criteria
The candidate should have Two years Diploma in Pharmacy (D-Pharma) (ALLOPATHIC) recognized by the Government of West Bengal and registered as "A" category Pharmacist under West Bengal Pharmacy Council. Weightage will be given for higher qualification. The candidate must have efficiency in computers including MS office and internet. The candidates must be permanent resident of West Bengal.

Scale of Scoring
Full marks = 100
Max.Marks : 85 (D-Pharma = 65, B-Pharma = 75, M-Pharma = 85)
Remarks : Proportionate marking i.e., % of marks obtained
Computer Test : 15
Remarks : Qualifying Marks - Minimum 50%; failing which the candidature will be treated as cancelled.

General Information for the Applicants / Candidates :
i) The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
ii) The applicant must have knowledge of local languages (should be able to read, write and speak in Bengali).
iii) Age relaxation will be given for the reserved candidates as per existing norms of the State Government.
iv) Only online Applications will be accepted. Application forms not properly filled in or incomplete Application forms are liable to be cancelled. If online application details submitted by the applicant differ with the original testimonials, same application shall be liable to be cancelled.
v) If proper signature and photograph are not uploaded at the time of submission of online application such application shall also be liable to be cancelled.
vi) Hard copy/print copy of the online registration form may be downloaded from the link "https://hr.wbhealth.gov.in/lndex.aspx"-> "Application Print" and should be retained by all the applicants for document verification purpose. Without registration form, candidates will not be entertained for original testimonials verification by the authority. No need to send Hard copy/print copy of the online registration form by post.
vii) The Essential Criteria mentioned are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle the candidate to claim selection. All the essential academic qualification must be completed on or before the last date of online application.
viii) Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Academic qualification / Computer Test.
ix) All marks must be calculated excluding marks of Additional Subject. No rounding off of marks will be granted. Proportionate marking up to 2 decimal points will be considered.
x) The candidates, if found ineligible at any stage of recruitment process, will not be called for the subsequent stages of the selection process.
xi) The eligible candidates will have to go through all stages of recruitment. If a candidate skips any stage(s), s/he will be disqualified without any further communication.
xii) The above-mentioned post is purely contractual in nature with initial period of engagement up to March'2027 and may be renewed for further period depending on satisfactory performance and approval of higher authority.
xiii) The decision of the competent authorities regarding the recruitment is final.
xiv) The competent authorities may cancel the recruitment process at any stage of the selection process.

NEFT in favor of DISTRICT HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE SAMITY (NON-NHM) Bank A/C No- 0187132000008, IFSC- CNRB0000187. Bank deposit copy (with UTR no.) will have to be submitted with printed copy of the on-line application form, during checking and verification.

Online payment will also be accepted. In that case receipt or screen shot of payment will have to be submitted with printed copy of the on-line application form, during original testimonials verification.

If the message “Duplicate Registration !” appears during online application (for the candidate, who have applied before for the same post), please enter your first name two times in the “* Enter First Name:” field of first page of online application form. Final correction will be done during original testimonials verification.
