Post: Manager - Marketing
Overview of Role
The Marketing Manager will develop, plan, execute and measure integrated marketing campaigns to drive demand and generate qualified leads for PharmaSecure. The Marketing Manager will serve as the primary contact for a variety of online and offline media. The ability to translate product and service offerings into business-oriented value statements is essential. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a small organization, and is able to juggle and prioritize competing organizational needs.
Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•Assist in preparing and implement marketing strategy for the PharmaSecure products.
•Work with the management team to prepare a core brand message, marketing strategy and apply these into all aspects of media. Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships
•Assist on managing and generating all technical product information to be applied to all aspects of marketing.
•Assist in market research to support and define brand and marketing strategy
•Managing concepts layouts for core media items; generate, proofread and maintain relevant content for all marketing media including Website, Brochures and Mini Brochures, e-newsletter, Press advertising, Press releases, Posters, Photo and product CD’s , ads, direct mail.
•Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing ads in the press - local, regional, national and specialist publications - or on the radio, depending on the organization
•Assist on all planning and details for photo and video shoots to be used in all aspects of marketing
•Make regular contact with all major industry magazines for effective distribution of marketing materials
•Make regular contact with all major industry by organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
•Evaluating marketing campaigns and monitoring competitor activity
•Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations and regularly updating customer databases
•Assist in preparing quarterly reports and budget to present to the management team, including:
An overview of all aspects of marketing and customer services from the preceding quarter and an overview of plan for the upcoming quarter.
A year to date comparison of costs in relation to budget and the preceding year.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, communications or related field.
• 4 - 6 years experience in marketing communications or related field.
• Excellent written communication skills a must.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects with a keen attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor; team player orientation.
• Hands-on, energetic and motivated self-starter.
• Prior experience in the high tech, telecom or Software as a Service industries preferred.
