Job Description
The Center for Infectious Disease Diagnostics & Innovation (CIDDI) is looking for a passionate and talented scientist to join our group. We offer the opportunity for mentorship and career growth. Our group is at the forefront of genomic diagnostic programs on infectious diseases, and we have several exciting projects in collaboration with academic institutions, both domestic and international, and industry.
The candidate will need to be able to remain current in the literature in these fields. The candidate is expected to develop research results into quality manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals, and for presentation at relevant scientific meetings or conferences. The candidate is expected to participate in regular group or project team meetings, and present and discuss research results as necessary.

Candidate Profile
All research backgrounds are welcome, but experience in molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, computational biology, or a related research field is preferred. Experience with RNA/DNA sequencing, microarray, multiplex PCR, epigenetic or other complex ‘omics’ platform is a plus.
The candidate will need to be able to remain current in the literature in these fields. The candidate is expected to develop research results into quality manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals, and for presentation at relevant scientific meetings or conferences. The candidate is expected to participate in regular group or project team meetings, and present and discuss research results as necessary.


Work requires a PhD or equivalent doctorate and a bachelor's degree in biology, or other directly related scientific field. Candidates with non-US degrees may be required to provide proof of degree equivalency. This position is limited to those with the requisite research experience and advanced degree as above. Renewals are contingent upon available funding.
