Post : MANAGER - MAKE EXCELLENCE

Purpose of the position: Lead MAKE Excellence in Baddi.  Position will be responsible for driving Make Excellence initiatives in Baddi arising out of the overall Make strategic roadmap, which includes delivering sustainable GP improvement, Strengthening Zero Defect Culture,Capability risk reduction methodology, OEE/productivity improvement, executing capacity expansion projects, managing strategic Make and Value stream projects, Performance management and building core competencies & capabilities to deliver Best-In-Class performance in Make Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Works with AP Consumer MAKE Leadership team to ensure alignment of Consumer Make Excellence strategic direction/goals & objectives, garnering support, and authorization of deploying Make Excellence Initiatives. These areas include network actions,OGSM ,strategic roadmap, site master plan,sourcing council actions.
  2. E2E programs:Working collaboratively to ensure seamless execution of e2e programs  and weave it into the governance rhythm.
  3. Margin progression opportunities:
    GP progression activities
    CIP program and targets
  4. Lead Process to identify value,cost improvement / GP improvement projects across all the function.
  5. Ensure flawless governance and execution of projects.         Develop future project pipelines for long term sustainability and continuous cost reductions.
  6. Collaborate with cross functional teams and regional teams for target settings, periodic reviews, reporting and bridging gaps.
  7. Network strategy deployment
  8. Hypercare activities for site to be led by the incumbent .The role envisages documentation and governance of hypercare remediation actions with leadership team

Capability     
Develops Talent and leverages learning within and across the Supply Chain.
Deploys the MEX capability agenda aligned with the regional roadmap on capability.
Deploying knowledge sharing platforms and building capability for the Make community
Projects Management 
Lead team to dive Capacity Expansion Projects and product re-siting projects based on aligned network strategy
Remove roadblocks in project execution for timely delivery.

Programs

  • Zero defect (Quality Excellence in Execution)  and CRRM         Support Team to lead Zero Defect Program for Baddi for End to End Quality and process improvement initiative.Actively participate and provide support in monthly Quality Steering Committee meetings.Strengthen Zero Defect culture in the organization by deploying Regional and Global QE2 (Quality Excellence in Execution) initiatives.
  • Integrate the CRRM methodology into the predictive quality approach and collaborate to deliver the quality excellence agenda as part of the larger manufacturing excellence approach.
  • Cost benchmarking:Engage with AP Regional Team to adopt best practices from the region and bench mark with other sites.
  • Flex 2 win program deliveryJJPS enablement at site through all pahses of diagnostics and execution. Support Make to Win/JJPS Journey to improve OEE/Productivity.
  • ME2 Program governance at site and maturity enhancement in collaboration with maintenance lead

Candidate Profile :
Education: Engineering / Science background with a Post-graduation in Operations Management from premier B-Schools.
Exposure to TPM/Lean/Six Sigma processes
Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt level or equivalent experience/knowledge
