Initially the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had two Departments, Each of these Departments was headed by the Secretary to the Government of India:-   Department of Health & Family Welfare, Department of Health Research. Now Ministry of Health and Family Welfare comprises the following two departments, each of which is headed by a Secretary to the Government of India:- Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) is attached office of the Department of Health & Family Welfare and has subordinate offices spread all over the country. The DGHS renders technical advice on all Medical and Public Health matters and is involved in the implementation of various Health Services.

Walk in interviews for Pharmacists retired from Central/State Govt/PSUs to work in CGHS, Hyderabad on Contract basis for a period of 180 days. The approximate vacancies to be filled are:
1) Pharmacist (Allopathy) :14 (Fourteen only)
2) Pharmacist (Ayurvedic) :02 (Two only)
3) Pharmacist (Unani)    :03 (Three only)
4) Pharmacist (Homeo) :02 (Two only)

Salary : Rs.17.000/- (or) LPD-Pension fixed which ever is less

Age limit : Should be less than 65 years of age.

Pharmacist-allopathy
Essential Educational Qualifications:
(i) 12th class pass with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry& Biology)
(ii) or Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized institution and registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 and
(iii) Two years’ experience as Pharmacist in any recognized Hospital or Pharmacy after duly registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 and
OR
(i) Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) from a recognized University; and
(ii) Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.

 

Pharmacist-Homoeopathy
Essential Educational Qualifications:
(1) Matriculation or equivalent 
(2) At least two years’ experience as Homoeopathic  Phar macist in Govt. Hospital or recognized Private  Homoeopathic Hospital/Dispensary

PHARMACIST (AYURVEDA)
Essential Qualifications:

1. 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized University/Board.
2. Successful  training  of  at  least  2  years  duration  in  Ayurvedic
Pharmacist/Compounder  or  B.Pharma/D.Pharma  (Ayurveda)  recognized  by the State Govt.

PHARMACIST (UNANI)
Essential Qualification:
1. Matriculation with proficiency in Urdu or a equivalent oriental qualification in Urdu/Arabic/Persian.
2. A Certificate/diploma of a minimum of one year’s duration in Unani Pharmacy awarded by a State Board or an Institution of repute followed by one year’s practical experience as a Pharmacist in a reputed Unani Hospital/Dispensary/Pharmacy.

 

The applicants to attend walk in Interview on 13.11.17 & 14.11.17 from 10.30am to 5.00pm along with the following Original Certificates
1) Date of Blrth-SSC/PUC
2) Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy
3) Registration Certificate in Pharmacy and validity
4) Retirement/Rolieving Order
5) Pension Payment Order
6) Residertial address Proof-Aadhar Card/Pensioner dentity Card
