Post : Research Scientist - Microbiology
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop lab stream work flow plan on a periodic basis
- Ensure Micro Approval Process requirements (recommendations, testing and exemptions) are complied to for all categories
- Participate in failure investigations and timely updates to business partners
- Ensure QMIC compliances
- Patner with product develpoment groups to improve formula robustness
- Review daily lab records and test data on ELN and Labnet
- Identify opportunities for simplification and innovation
- Participate in vendor audits, assessment and internal audits
- Support Cross Functions to manage GMP,C&S and other Micro Controls
Candidate profile:
Master’s Degree in Microbiology
Experience in a FMCG, Foods or Pharmaceutical Industry
6- 7 Years of Functional Experience required
3 Years of Supervisory experience
Good understanding microbiology, lab systems and regulatoty requirements and awareness on cosmetic chemistry / formulations preferred
Excellent written and spoken English skills

Sound technical knowledge in Microbiology
Supervisory experience is preferred - leading a team of 3-4 individuals
Previous experience in Consumer Products Industry and with some knowledge on oral /personal/ home care formulations preferred
