Vacancies for Pharmacists (30 posts) in Office of the CDMO

Applications in the prescribed proformed are invited from eligible candidates for selection and engagement of the following newly created posts under the Chief District Medical Officer, Jajpur to be filled on Contractual basis with monthly remuneration mentioned against each of the post. The application for the above posts should reach in the office of the C.D.M.O., At / Po / Dist - Jajpur, PIN-755001, through Speed Post / Regd. Post only on or before Dt.20.05.2016 by 05.00 P.M. The application received after due date shall not be considered under any circumstances and will be rejected. The candidate has to apply separate application for separate post.

Post: MPHW(Male)

No.of post: 30 post; ST-7+SC-5+UR-15+SEBC-3 (PH-3%, Ex-servicemen- 1%)

Monthly Remuneration: Rs 5,200/- and G.P Rs 2,000/- per month

Minimum Qualification: Must have passed +2 Science Examination under Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha / equivalent and Diploma in Pharmacy from any of the 03 (three) Govt. Medical College and Hospitals of the State / any other private institutions duly recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India / A.I.C.T.E

Reservations:   Reservation to SC / ST shall be made in accordance with the provisions contained in ORV Act & Rules -1975 in posts and services for SC & ST. Reservation to SEBC, Sportsperson, Ex-servicemen and persons with Disabilities be made in accordance with the provisions made under such Act, Rules, Orders, Resolutions or, instructions issued in this behalf by the Govt, from time to time

Eligible Criteria:
Nationality - He / She must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit - The candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 32 years on the date of advertisement of post. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 05 years in case of women, SC, ST & SEBC candidates and 10 years in case of person with disability. All candidates being women shall be allowed relaxation of upper age limit in accordance with provisions of the relevant rules as may be decided by the Govt, from time to time. A person, who comes under more than one reserved category, shall be eligible for only one benefit of relaxation which shall be considered more beneficial to him / her. The upper age relaxation in case of Ex-servicemen will be given as per rule. Further that the candidates engaged on contractual basis under Central Plan Schemes, State Plan Schemes and externally aided schemes and completed at least one year of continuous service shall be allowed upper age relaxation up to age of 45 years. The ASHA Karmies working under the health system of the State, who are below the age of 45 years and have completed at least one year of continuous service and having requisite qualification for the post of Staff Nurse MPHW (F) shall be allowed to take part in the recruitment process.

Knowledge of Odia:   i.The candidate must be able to read, write and speak Odia.

ii.Passed Middle school examination with Odia a language subject or,
iii.Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject or,
iv.Passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class-VII from a school or, education institution recognized by the Govt, of Odisha or, the Central Govt, or
v.Passed a test in Odia in Middle English school standard conducted by the school and Mass Education Dept.

Marital Status: If married the candidates must not have more than one spouse living except otherwise exempted by Government

Physical Fitness: The candidates must be of good mental and physical health and free from any physical defects likely to make him
incapable of discharging of the normal duties in the service.

Recruitment procedure:
Recruitment to the above posts shall be made by way of Career Assessment of the candidates by the selection board as below:

The candidates engaged on contractual basis under Central Plan Scheme, State Plan Scheme & externally aided schemes who are below the age of 45 years and have completed at least one year of continuous service shall be allowed to take part in the recruitment process & allowed to 1% extra mark of the total marks of examination for each completed year of continuous service subject to maximum of 15% which will be added to the marks secured by them for deciding the merit position.

Similarly the ASHA Karmies with minimum qualification for the post shall be allowed to 1% extra mark of the total marks of examination for each completed year of continuous service subject to maximum of 15% which will be added to the marks secured by them for deciding the merit position for the post of Staff Nurse & MPHW (Female) only

General Conditions:
1. The Authority will not be responsible for any postal delay.
2.The application received in hand or by any other media will not be entertained.
3.Selection will be done strictly on the basis of merit as per career assessment for the post and no weightage will be given for higher qualification.
4.The candidates who are already working in Health Department have to apply along with experience certificate issued by the Appointing Authority.
5.Number of vacancies as mentioned above in various categories are subject to change, if required as per rule in future.
6.The appointment is purely temporary and may be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof. The selected candidates will have to sign an agreement prescribed by Fin. Deptt. for the contractual services. 
7.At the time of joining, the candidates shall have to submit an undertaking to the effect that they will not claim any Govt. Post/Regular appointment in future as a matter of right. Further they will not claim inter district transfer in future.
8.The applicants have to apply to the Chief District Medical Officer, Jajpur, PIN-755001 by Regd. Post / Speed Post only on or, before Dt.20.05.2016 by 05.00 P.M. with the envelope super scribed as
"APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF." in block capital letter.
The application received incomplete in any respect or, received after due date will not be considered.
