Qualification and Experience
Essential Qualification: Ph. D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch of Synthetic/Medicinal chemistry (Chemical Sciences) with a very good academic record throughout. A minimum of 8 years of post Ph D Teaching / Research / Industrial experience in reputed organization, of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor on the date of application.
Desirable: The candidate should have demonstrated leadership in teaching and research in organic and medicinal chemistry in terms of guidance of Masters, Ph.D. students, strong record of publications in reputed journals and conferences, patents, able to design and development of course curriculum as well as laboratory experiments.

Age: 50 yrs

Consolidated remuneration per month: Rs 65000/- to Rs 80000/- (Consolidated) + TA

GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. Director, CSIR-IICT (Mentor Institute for NIPER Hyderabad) reserves the right to relax any of the criteria for selection, in case candidate is meritorious and experienced.
2. Applicants from SC/ST/OBC category as well as persons with disability can also apply for these posts. In such case relaxation of age limit will be as per Govt. of India norms.
3. The Selection Committee may recommend higher remuneration in case of candidates possessing higher qualification, experience and credentiality/expertise in the relevant field.
4. Institute reserves the right to with draw advertised post(s) at any time without assigning any reason. Institute also reserves the right to fill (either in the same position or downgraded position) or not to fill any post (s) and its decision in this regards shall be final.
5. Incomplete application or without relevant supporting enclosures (self attested copies of degree/ marks sheet/ experience certificate, reprints of important publications etc) at the time of interview will be out rightly rejected.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
