Post : Analytical Chemist - GTI
Position Duties:
- Provide analytical support comprising of instrumental analysis, timely evaluation, documentation and release of results.
- Ensure that all instruments are calibrated and maintained in good working condition.
- Confirm compliance with Clariant Safety standards and good laboratory practices.
- Develop and nurture contacts with external analytical facilities for outsourcing of services.
- Contribute to budget, capex planning and monitoring costs.
- Provide advice and support to customers, whenever necessary
Business Requirement:
- Sound knowledge in instrumental analytics like GC, HPLC, LCMS, GCMS, GPC, DSC, TGA, Viscometry, Surface Tensiometer, Microscopy, NMR etc.
- Experience and knowledge of interpretation of results using multiple analytical techniques.
- Prior work experience in an analytical lab, preferably in a MNC organization, in the field of speciality chemical, performance chemical, pharmaceuticals etc.
- Should have thorough understanding of ISO 17025 requirements in analytical lab function
