The Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute (VPCI) is a unique postgraduate medical institution devoted to research, teaching and patient care in the field of chest diseases. It is a University of Delhi maintained institution and is funded entirely by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The Institute is ideally located in the heart of the main campus of the University of Delhi, providing the requisite academic environment. The Institute fulfills the national need for providing relief to large number of patients in the community suffering from Chest Diseases. It has eminently discharged its role and has earned a unique place in the field of Chest Medicine.

Following temporary positions are to be filled in the project, entitled. “To Assess the Price and Availability of Essential Medicines in Delhi after the Implementation of the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Policy 2012” Phase II Study”

Post: Area Supervisor, Data Collector

Area Supervisor - One.
Qualification - Diploma/degree in Pharmacy. Essential: work experience in health related projects and/experience in data collection from community; and/experience in data collection from dispensaries/hospitals/pharmacies, well-versed with generic and trade names of commonly used medicines. Working knowledge of computer. Desirable: Knowledge of MS Excel.
Consolidated Salary Rs. 17,000/ per month Duration: 4 months

Data Collector - One.
Qualification Diploma/degree in Pharmacy. Essential: work experience in data collection from dispensaries/hospitals/pharmacies, well-versed with generic and trade names of commonly used medicines. Working knowledge of computers is desirable.
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 10,000/ per month on part time basis with targeted work of data collection
Duration: 3 months
