Malabar Cancer Centre opens for posts of Assistant Pharmacists - 2 posts

Malabar Cancer Centre, Thalassery (MCC) is an autonomous institution under Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Kerala, started with an aim to establish a comprehensive cancer centre, providing the much-required oncology care to the population of Northern region of Kerala and neighbouring parts of Karnataka and Tamilnadu states. The main objective of the centre is not only to provide comprehensive cancer care but also to develop as a Research and Training Centre of international standards. A society named Malabar Cancer Centre Society was registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with the above aims and clinical work in MCC started from March 2001 onwards.

Category: Muslim
Qualification/Experience: Diploma in Pharmacy, Experience: 5 years

1. The applications should be downloaded from our website mcc.kerala.gov.in Applications that are not complete in all respect will not be considered.
2. Selection will be based on qualification and experience and performance in the written test and interview.
3. Claims in respect of qualification, experience, age. Etc. should be supported with copies of relevant document proving the same. Candidates may be required to produce the originals at the time of interview.
4. Age as on 01.01.2015 should be 40 years for SC and 38 for other backward community candidates.
5. Community certificate and non creamy layer certificate from Tahsildar should be submitted along with the application.
6. All communications, including the Interview call letter, will be informed only through e-mail/Post. Candidates are advised to visit our website www.mcc.kerala.gov.in regularly for updates, notices and announcements.
7. Canvassing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification. Candidates are advised to desist from such unholy practices.
8. The envelope containing application should be super scribed as “Application for the Post of……….………….………..”
9. Application fee Rs.50/- for SC category and Rs.150/- for others in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, Malabar Cancer Centre, payable at Thalassery, should be submitted along with application form.
10. Application form along with Demand draft as application fee and self attested copies of certificates proving age, qualification, experience community, etc. should be forwarded to the Director Malabar Cancer Centre, Moozhikkara (PO), Thalassery, Kerala 670103 on or before 12/02/2015, 4pm
11. Applications of candidates from the above mentioned caste only will be considered and other castes will be rejected. Individual communications regarding the rejection of their applications for the above reason will not be issued.
12. MCC will not be liable for any postal delay and late applications will not be considered after the last date of submission.
13. Candidates will have to undergo a written test conducted by LBS Thiruvananthapuram, followed by a Selection Interview in MCC, for the eligible candidates.
