Department : Animal House -Quality Control
Job Responsibilities
1. To monitor the cleanliness of the animal house, animal cages and feeding accessories
2. To monitor the animal house activities as per the CPCSEA Guideline
3. To monitor the food and water quality of animals.
4. Prescribe medication to sick animals
5. To Issue healthy Animals for tests
6. To maintain the health of small laboratory animals by diagnosing and treating diseases.
7. To provide treatment and dressing of wounds to injured animals
8. To provide anesthesia and euthanize the animals whenever required
9. To maintain the records (Animal breeding and stock records) of animal house as per the CPCSEA Guideline.
10. To monitor the breeding of animals.
11. To prepare and participate in the IAEC Meetings
12. To supervise the animal house facility and provide training to subordinates.
13. To maintain the Good laboratory practices in the department.
Note : Candidates must have experience in sterile/ injectable formulation unit.
Additional Information
Experience : 1 to 3 years
Qualification : BVSc or MVSc
