Job Description
Scope of the Role:
- Evaluation, development and management of Raw Material Suppliers (Chemicals including Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) for their performance monitoring & implementing development programs.
- Drive compliance through audits & facilitate implementation of audit action plan.
- Handling Chemicals including API Supplier Quality issues, by personal intervention to drive to resolution.
- Leading and Supporting Supplier related Projects regionally and locally.
- Write, negotiate, lead and ensure timely execution of risk assessment for suppliers for with compliance and quality issues.
-Work with Sourcing team on sourcing strategy and its implementation.
- Manage/Support coordination of Supplier quality issues using software package Track wise for managing quality system compliance viz. Change Control, Non-Conformance & CAPA Management.
- Manage/lead from supplier quality on new product development projects and other quality improvement projects.
- Conduct supplier training programs and being part of implementation of the various projects identified at the supplier’s end.
Qualifications
Master of Science Degree, preferably Chemistry, Pharmaceutical or Biological Science with 6 -8 years of experience.
Knowledge of cGMP, Local Regulations and Quality Systems and Guidelines. Leadership, Collaboration and interpersonal skills. Analytical and Process oriented Decision making and problem solving.
