Applications from the eligible candidates in the prescribed format are invited for the following contractual post under "New Recruitment Policy". The application with all required documents should reach at the office of the undersigned by Registered Post/ Speed Post on or before 14.01.2017. The application received after the due date or incomplete applications will be summarily rejected and not considered under any circumstances. The candidates have to apply in separate application form for separate post.

Minimum Educational Qualification
Must have passed +2 Science Examination under Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or Equivalent course and passed Diploma in Pharmacy from any of the 3 (three) Medical College and Hospitals of the State or any other recognized private institutions duly approved by A.I.C.T.E and registered in Odisha Pharmacy Council.

Monthly Remuneration
Rs.5200/- + G.P. Rs.2400/- = Rs.7600/- pm

 

Reservations:-
Reservation for Women candidates & Person With Disability & Ex-Service man etc. will be made as per guidelines and relevant rules prevailing from time to time. The applicants being citizen of India with knowledge of Odia as laid down in the respective Cadre Rules have equal right to take part in the recruitment and to be selected on merit basis as provided therein irrespective of their District / State and question of preference to local candidates does not arise.

Eligible Criteria:-

Nationality:
He / She must be citizen of India.

Age Limit:
The Candidates for the posts must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 32 years on the date of advertisement of post. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years in case of women, SC, ST candidates and 10 years in case of Person with Disability. A person, who comes under more than one reserved category, shall be eligible for only one benefit of relaxation which shall be considered most beneficial to him/ her. Further that the candidates engaged on contractual basis in similar assignment under H&FW department under the Central Plan Scheme, State Plan Scheme and externally aided Scheme under H&FW department who are below the age of 45 years and have completed at least one year of continuous service shall be allowed to take part in the recruitment process.  The upper age limit in case of reserve categories shall be relaxed in accordance with existing provisions' of the Act, Rules, Orders or instructions for their respective categories.

Knowledge in Odia:
i)  The candidate must be able to read, write and speak Odia.
ii)   Passed middle school examination with Odia as language subject or
iii)  Passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class-VII from a school or education institution recognized by the Government of Odisha or the Central Government or
iv) Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department.

Marital Status:
If married, the candidates must not have more than one spouse living except otherwise exempted by Government.

Physical Fitness:
The candidates must be of good mental and physical health and free from any physical defects likely to make him incapable of discharging of the normal duties in the service.

Recruitment Procedure:-
Recruitment to the above posts shall be made by way of Career Assessment of the candidates by the Board as below.

Career Assessment: Total Marks = 100

(i) Diploma in Pharmacy for the post of Pharmacist

The candidates engaged on contractual basis under the Central Plan Scheme, State Plan Scheme and externally aided Scheme shall be allowed to 1% extra mark of the total mark for each completed year of continuing service subject to maximum of 15 marks which will be added to the marks secured by them for deciding the merit position.

General Condition:-
1. The authority will not be responsible for any postal delay.
2.The application received in hand or by any other mode except Regd./ Speed post will not be entertained.
3.Selection will be done strictly on the basis of merit as per Career assessment for the post of Sl.No 1 to 3 and on the basis of pass mark of M.E (07th ) examination for the post of Attendant . No weightage will be given for higher qualification. The candidates must have passed minimum educational requirement for the post.
4. The candidates who are already working in Health Department in similar assignment either on regular or contractual basis have to apply along with experience certificate issued by the appointing authority only.
5. Number of vacancies as mentioned above in various categories is subject to change, if required as per rule in future.
6. The engagement on contractual basis is purely temporary and can be terminated at any time without any notice and without assigning any reasons thereof. The selected candidates will have to sign an agreement prescribed by Finance Department for the contractual service.
7. At the time of joining the candidates shall have to submit an undertaking to the effect that they will not claim any Govt. Post/Regular appointment in future as a matter or right. They will also undertake that they will not claim any financial benefit other than the monthly consolidated remuneration fixed against the post
8. The candidates appointed on contractual basis will not claim for Inter District Transfer.

10. The application form not signed by the applicant received incomplete in any respect or received after the due date will not be considered.
11.  No personal enquiry/approach or correspondences will be entertained.
