The Kerala Public Service Commission is a body created by the Constitution of India. The Commission advise the Government on all matters relating to civil services referred to it under Article 320 (3) of the Constitution and publish notifications inviting applications for selection to various posts as per the requisitions of the appointing authorities, conduct written test and/or practical tests, physical efficiency test and interview, prepare ranked list based on the performance of the candidates and advise candidates for appointment strictly based on their merit and observing the rules of reservation as and when vacancies are reported.

Applications are invited online only from qualified candidates for appointment in the under mentioned post in Kerala Government Service. Before applying for the post candidates should register as per One Time Registration through the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission.

Number of vacancies: 2 (Two)

Department: Health Services

Scale of pay: Rs. 13210-22360/-

The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of the currency of the list.

Note:- 3% vacancies for the post shall be reserved for eligible PH candidates vide G.O(P)No.1/2013/SJD dated 03.01.2013.

Method of appointment: Direct Recruitment

Age limit: (18-37) Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. For conditions regarding age relaxation please see Para 2 of the General Conditions.

Qualifications:
B.Sc in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry of a recognized University with I or II class.
Desirable:- Experience as Chemist in a recognized Laboratory

Note: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.

Mode of submitting applications: Before applying for the post, candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' through the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in'. Those who have registered shall apply by logging in their profile using his/her User- ID and password. No application fee is required. Candidates can view, rectify defects and print the details in the Profile by clicking the link Registration Card after entering the home page. Candidates are responsible to ensure correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password and they shall keep in mind the User ID for further communication with the Commission. Applications which are submitted not in accordance with the instructions given in the Notification and in the website will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove qualification, service, age, community etc. have to be produced as and when called for.
