Post: DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER / SENIOR MANAGER (MARKETING)

Tasks
The Deputy General Manager/ Senior Manager (Marketing) will report to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the efficient and profitable Marketing & sales of the Unit.
The other responsibilities include the following:
- To identify emerging marketing strategies and tests their Effectiveness and reports on their result to create and sustain brand.
- Develop and ensure execution of marketing strategies in alignment with the business requirements.
- Develop effective strategies for identifying new markets and selling more product and evaluating these strategies onregular basis for updations, whenever required.
- Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports to the required functions and recommend revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
- Manage an effective, efficient and product marketing function by ensuring that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies and values are developed.
- Provide significant input into the annual marketing plan, specifically: sales forecasts for each product (taking into consideration past history, market trends, competitive activity and required sales effort), allocation of expenses between products (taking into consideration stage in product life cycle, potential for future growth and profit contribution, potential competitors), required sales promotion programme (taking into consideration marketing strengths relative to competitors, selling opportunities and customers needs and attitudes) and the marketing materials needed to accomplish the goals.
- Develop Management analyses of therapeutic areas of relevance, and strategic assessments of the companys products in the Indian market as well as in International markets.
- Ensure effective team communication throughout the marketing function through the application of suitable reporting systems and structures and the identification and provision of appropriate training.
- Financial management of the marketing programme including budget planning, resource allocation and preparation of quarterly reports.
- Responsible for developing and implementing training programs for entire sales team.

Requirements
Maximum Age: 45 Years as on 01/12/2014.

Scale of Pay: DGM: 29100-54500 / SM: 24900-50500

Annual CTC: DGM:11.50 Lakhs / SM: 9.90 Lakhs (approx.) at the minimum of the scale.

Qualification:
Essential: Post Graduate in Marketing ( Or) Post-graduation diploma in Marketing

Post Qualification Experience:
Essential:
# Minimum 10 years post qualification experience in Manufacturing Industry preferably in Vaccine / Biological Science / Life science / Pharma
# 10 years of experience from Science / Bio-Technology Industries with hands on experience in Sales / Marketing out of which minimum 5 years should be in a senior managerial position.
# Should have experience in Marketing & sales of Vaccine/Pharma/Lifescience products in International Market.
# Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
# Ability to lead and motivate high performing workforce.

Desirable Post Qualification Experience
Knowledge of supply chain & cold storage of vaccine & pharma product.
Knowledge on Pharmocovigilance / Regulatory affairs matters in vaccine & pharma product marketing & sales.
