Vacancy for Research Scientist at ACTREC

The origins of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) are rooted in the Indian Cancer Research Centre (ICRC), which was established in 1952 in Parel, Mumbai, under the purview of the Ministry of Health, Government of India. In 1966, ICRC was renamed the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) and amalgamated with the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), creating the first comprehensive cancer centre in India - the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India.

Post : Project Research Scientist I

Project : “Preclinical Animal Study of the Efficacy and Safety of AIP- 303, a Theragnostic Radioimmunoconjugate for Invasive Breast Cancer Targeting Angiogenesis”

Educational Qualification : Second Class Post Graduate Degree including the integrated PG degree with PhD in Life Sciences or related fields. 
Experience : Experience in animal studies, cell biology studies, cell culture, radioisotope handling/experimentation and usage is desirable. 
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 71,120/- p.m. (Rs. 56,000+27% HRA).
Duration : Six months and extendable.
The work progress of candidates will be monitored and extension may be given after six months.

Only the short-listed candidates will be contacted by e-mail and notified about the interview date and timings. The interview will be in hybrid mode. Candidates will have the option to confirm whether they will attend the interview in person or online mode after getting the short-listed e-mail. Details will be sent accordingly. Shortlisted candidates will have to present their PhD work in 5-6 slides at the time of interview.
