The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) has been created as a centre of excellence for higher education, research and development in pharmaceutical sciences.

The institute has evolved over the years into a multi-disciplinary research organization with stress on fundamental research in its pursuit of advancement of knowledge in Science and technology and at the same time developing highly competent and able scientific manpower for the country.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an ‘Institute of National Importance’.

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome the prospective students  to the Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal. This State University, established by the Act of Legislature, has the objective of providing  scientific, technical & professional  education at higher level to all those who aspire for it. The University is committed to excel in teaching, training, capacity building, scholarship, research and public service.

CSIR- National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), Lucknow, a premier plant science research institute under Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), involved in multidisciplinary R&D programmes of both basic and applied nature across scientific disciplines for economic, environmental and societal benefits for the people of India.

With a coastline of about 3,500 miles, inland sources in Rajasthan and Little Rann of Kutch, and the rock salt mines in Mandi, India have possibilities of attaining a high position in salt production among the salt producing countries of the world. As is known, apart from being an indispensable item of food, salt is an important raw material for the manufacture of several heavy chemicals e.g. soda ash, caustic soda and chlorine.

The CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology. Palampur (CSIR-IHBT) is one of the National Institute under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research which is an Autonomous Body. It is located on a 250 acres of land with the backdrop of snow-covered peaks of Dhauladhar Range in salubrious climate.
