CSIR- National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), Lucknow, a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), is a premier plant science research institute, involved in multidisciplinary R&D programmes of both basic and applied nature across scientific disciplines for economic, environmental and societal benefits for the people of India. CSIR-NBRI undertakes basic and applied research in strategically important areas of plant sciences.

Agharkar Research Institute (ARI) is an autonomous, grant-in-aid research institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Goverment of India. It was established in 1946 by the Maharashtra Association for the Cultivation of Science as MACS Research Institute and renamed as ARI in 1992 in honour and memory of its founder Director, late Professor S.P. Agharkar.

Defence Institute of Bio-Energy Research (DIBER) (formely Defence Agricultural research Laboratory, DARL) is engaged in R&D on Biofuel crops and Bio-diesel for Defence use.Bio-resource conservation, improvement and its judicious utilization and Bioenergy-products from Himalayan Herbs. The laboratory is located at Haldwani, District- Nainital (Uttarakhand).

Following Fellowships are available initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules), at a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/- per month for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Rs. 40,000/- per month for Research Associate (RA) (House Rent Allowance is also admissible as per rules). Applications are invited to fill up two post of Junior Scientific Assistant
(Group ‘ B’Non,Gazetted) in the office of the Director Central Drugs Testing Laboratory,CDSCO,Zonal FDA Bhawan,Mumbai in Pay Band -2,Rs.9300-34,800+Grade Pay Rs.4200 (revised as per 7th CPC Pay matrix level - 5) by Promotion/ transfer on deputation basis (including short term contract) from amongst the officers under the Central/State Government /Semi, Government / Statutory / Autonomous, Research, Organisations / institutions.

Post : Junior Scientific Assistant

The University was established under the provisions of Uttar Pardesh State Universities Act (Act No. 10 of 1973) on 1.12.1973 and the Act come in force w.e.f. 1.12.1973. The name of the university was rechristened to Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University in 1989 in commemoration of the memory of a leading statesman of the country, the son of the soil Shri Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna, and subsequently established as Central University under the provision of the Central Universities Ordinance, 2009, No.3 of 2009 published in the gazette of India, extraordinary Part-II, Sec-I, New Delhi, 15 January 2009. Our University is among the ten largest Universities of the country with 3 campuses and more than 180 affiliated colleges and institutes (both state run/aided and self financed) and examining approximately 150000 students annually, providing higher education services in 7 out of the 13 Districts of the State of Uttarakhand.

Those applicants, who have applied against our Advt. No. HNBGU/Recruitment-01 and 02/2015 (ROLLING) dated 19th February, 2015 are also required to apply again, however they are exempted from paying application fee. The University reserves right to call persons, eminent in their field for interview, for the posts of Professors even though they do not apply for advertised posts. The applications received up to 15th January 2017 will be considered for this round of interview. The application received after 15th January 2017 will be considered for the next round of recruitment process for the remaining vacant posts.

Applications are invited for the recruitment of various positions on contractual basis with consolidated pay under two DBT sponsored projects entitled, (1) “Chemical profiling of Joha and black rice of Assam for nutritional, nutraceutical parameters and aroma compounds” and (2) “Microbial roles in yield management of scented rice of North East India” at Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) Garchuk, Guwahati (Assam). Applications are invited for the recruitment of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Senior Research Fellow (SRF) positions to work in a DBT funded project entitled “Genome and Transcriptome Sequencing of aromatic rices from North-Eastern region” for a period of three years.
