The VGI was established in the year 2000 with a vision to nurture globally competent professionals in Technical and Management education. Avanthi Avanthi Educational Society started its journey under the eminent Leadership of Sri M. Srinivasa Rao Garu, Member of Parliament, Anakapalli. Under his chairmanship, the group has made a remarkable stride in the field of education offering several courses in Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Engineering and Pharmacy Programs. Avanthi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in the academic year 2007–08 with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to JNTU, Hyderabad.

Danteswari College of Pharmacy is established in the year 2019, at Borpadar, Near Jagdalpur, District: Bastar, Chhattisgarh under the aegis of Shaina Educational Trust. The institute offers 2 years D. Pharm (60 Seats), & 4 years B. Pharm (100 Seats)  courses in pharmacy from 2019-20 with approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India(PCI) & affiliated to Chattishgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU).
