Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU), is the first Pharmacy University of India established by an Act7 of 2008 of State Legislature of Delhi as a State University vide Notification No.F. 2(412)/2008/SB/Vol. II/71 dated 21.01.2010 and is empowered to award degrees as specified by the UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act 1956 through its own departments and constituent colleges in regular mode vide notification No. F.9-19/2015/(CPP-I/PU) dated 22nd September 2015.

The college has been approved by The All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E), and Pharmacy Council of India (P.C.I.), New Delhi and affiliated by the W.B.S.C.T.V.E.S.D., Kolkata.  The college has a good infrastructure in the heart of the town at pandaveswar and well connected by Rail, Road and Air. The college has sufficient class rooms, well equipped laboratories, library with sufficient volumes of books and fully equipped computer lab.

Ambe Durga Education Society was established in the year 1997. The trust got registration certificate under society’s registration act 1860 and Bombay Public Act 1950. The registration numbers are MAH-663/1997 and F-14563 respectively. ADES has been constituted by great visionary Hon’ble Shri Vitthalrao alias Dadasaheb Balpande with vision to provide basic and higher education to socially and economically backward communities. To achieve this noble goal, ADES has started Dadasaheb Balpande College of Pharmacy (DBCOP), in the year 2006 offering B.Pharm.
