Notification of Joint CSIR-UGC NET 2018 for B.Pharm, M.Sc, B.Sc
Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), India, a premier national R&D organisation, is among the world's largest publicly funded R&D organisation. Human Resource Development Group (HRDG), a division of CSIR realises this objective through various grants, fellowship schemes etc.
A candidate may apply either for ‘JRF-Lectureship’ OR ‘JRF’ only OR ‘Lectureship (LS)’ only. He/she may indicate his/her preference in the Online Application, as the case may be. CSIR may consider candidates for ‘JRF-Lectureship’ OR ‘JRF’ only OR ‘Lectureship (LS)’ only depending on number of fellowships available & performance in the test, subject to the condition that they fulfill the laid down eligibility criteria. If a candidate is found to be over-age for JRF (NET) he/she will automatically be considered for Lectureship (NET) only. Candidates with M.Sc qualification OR under M.Sc Result Awaited (RA) category shall be eligible for LS subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria as laid down by the UGC.

The genesis of the ISHITA group in 1972 was the result of the entrepreneurial spirit of Mr. Jagdish Agrawal, who set up a reactive dye manufacturing unit in Ahmedabad. Buoyed by the growth of its first Venture, the group made its maiden foray in the pharma sector in 1981 by setting up a small Bulk drugs plant at Surendranagar in the state of Gujarat, to cater to the need of Pharma industry for Quality Products. The Bulk Drugs Industry at that point of time was highly dependent on costly imports and the growth was not easily achievable. But ‘ISHITA’ continued to achieve excellence in Quality of its products using innovative technology, and cost effective processes developed by in house R&D.Manufacturer of various Active Pharma Ingredients (bulk actives and their salts), drug intermediates, excipients and fine chemicals.
NIPER Ahmedabad was initiated with three specializations Biotechnology, Natural Products and Pharmaceutics and over the period of time three more specialisations Pharmaceutical Analysis, Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology and Toxicology were added in 2010. Subsequently in 2011, to cater the needs of Medical device industry in India, another feather was added to the cap of NIPER Ahmedabad in the form of specialisation in Medical Devices.
Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. At present the Institute has eleven departments and five inter-disciplinary academic centres covering all the major engineering, science and humanities disciplines, offering BTech, BDes, MA, MDes, MTech, MSc and PhD programmes.
