Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Kuvempu University is a young affiliating University in Karnataka. Established in 1987, it is a University with a distinctive academic profile, blending in itself commitment to rural ethos and a modern spirit. It has 41 Post-Graduate departments of studies in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Education and Law. Offering 45 Post-Graduate Programmes, 4 P.G.Diploma and one Under-Graduate programme. The University has 80 affiliated colleges, three  constituent colleges (among three, one is autonomous college) and other one autonomous college, one B.P.Ed. college, and 17 B.Ed. colleges under its jurisdiction spread over 2 districts of Shimoga,  and Chikmagalur. It also has outlying regional Post-Graduate centre at  Kadur.

Dibrugarh University, the easternmost University of India was set up in 1965 under the provisions of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965 enacted by the Assam Legislative Assembly. It is a teaching-cum-affiliating University with limited residential facilities. The University is situated at Rajabheta at a distance of about five kilometres to the south of the premier town of Dibrugarh in the eastern part of Assam as well as India.

ABSTRACT
The review article is focused on studies of Isatin-based Schciff Bases and their biological and pharmacological activities. Isatin-based Schiff base are generally synthesized by condensation of the keto group of Isatin with different aromatic primary amines carrying imine or azomethine (–C=N–) functional group. Isatin Schciff Base possesses numerous biological properties like antitumor, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, antiviral, anti HIV, antioxidant, CNS depressant activities

The institute campus area is 15 Acers featuring with well equipped Lab, Library & Reading room. It also features a computer lab with Wi-Fi and Lease line with 4 mbps high speed internet connection. Total intake of 60 students, since academic year 2004-05. presently 240 students are taking technical education. The institute is providing platform of students in different competitions such as State Level paper presentation, sports for overall development of students. The excellent academic infrastructure of the Institute is supplement with facilities for outdoor and indoor games as well as cultural activities.  The main multistoried building is with all the state of the art infrastructural facilities like well equipped Pharmaceutical Laboratories, Computer Laboratory, Library etc…. The institution emphasizes discipline oriented, high academic standards by keeping specific institutional objectives. The faculty comprises of highly competent, qualified and well experienced academicians and provides excellent coaching and motivation to the students.

Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of Pharmacy (YBCP) is the first ever Pharmacy College in Sindhudurg district introducing pinnacle of excellence in pharma education and research. ABSTRACT
Ischemic heart diseases are a major public health problem, it includes disorders of the heart and blood vessel. Ischemia is a condition in which the blood flow (and thus oxygen) is restricted or reduced in a part of the body.Cardiac ischemia is the name for decreased blood flow and oxygen to the heart muscle It's the term given to heart problems caused by narrowed heart arteries. When arteries are narrowed, less blood and oxygen reaches the heart muscle. This is also called coronary artery disease and coronary heart disease. This can ultimately lead to attack. Ischemia often causes chest pain or discomfort known as angina pectoris. Disease is diagnosed according to medical parameters; following diagnosis of the disease the treatment is started. The treatment is includes in medicines of Heart diseases and is as well as lifestyle.

ITM School of Pharmacy was established in 2017 with the aim to provide quality education at degree and postgraduate level in pharmacy and to prepare youth to meet the challenges in the area of pharmaceutical research & development. The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) Mumbai was established as the Department of Chemical Technology on 1st October, 1933 by the University of Mumbai, through active support of industries and philanthropists. The Institute was most popularly known as UDCT, Mumbai. Research has been an integral part of ICT since its inception and it has created over 500 first generation entrepreneurs. The UDCT grew significantly in stature and was granted autonomy under UGC regulations by the University of Mumbai and further converted in to an Institute on 26th January, 2002. Under the World Bank TEQIP programme, the Maharashtra government granted it full autonomy in June 2004. Due to the recommendations of the Government of Maharashtra and University of Mumbai, the ICT was granted Deemed University Status by the MHRD on 12th September, 2008, with all provisions of the UGC for funding and support as the state owned deemed university.
