Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the Twenty Three IITs created to be Centres of Excellence for training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India. Established as College of Engineering in 1961, the Institute was later declared as an Institution of National Importance under the Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963 and was renamed as “Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. It was then accorded the status of a Deemed University with powers to decide its own academic policy, to conduct its own examinations, and to award its own degrees.

Research Associate - III - (02)
Salary : Rs 67,000/-p.m plus HRA
Qualification : Ph D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M Pharm/ME/M.Tech. with at least one research paper in Science Citation (SCI) journal.
Jr. Research Fellow - 02 posts
Salary : Rs. 37,000/- p.m plus HRA @30%
Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional course.
The requirement of a qualifying NET / GATE qualification may be relaxed for candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.00 (80% aggregate marks), meritorious candidates.
