Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the Twenty Three IITs created to be Centres of Excellence for training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India. Consolidated fellowship / Pay-slab : Rs.37000 + HRA (30%) or 30,000 + HRA (30%) (i) 37,000/- + HRA (30%) to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions, (ii) 30,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
Qualifications
Essential : Four years Bachelor's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/BVSc/B.Pharm or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable : Knowledge in chemistry, biochemistry and drug development; CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualified; Hands-on experience in organic synthesis, column chromatography and NMR; Prior chemical biology research experience will be highly appreciated.
