Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, popularly known as GITAM was founded in 1980 by an inspired group of eminent intellectuals and industrialists of Andhra Pradesh led by Dr. M.V.V.S.Murthi, Former Member of Parliament and popular philanthropist. Their mission was to set up a world-class technology and management institution in the picturesque city of Visakhapatnam to impart futuristic and comprehensive professional education of global standards with a high sense of discipline and social relevance in a serene and invigorating environment.

CSIR-IIIM, Jammu is offering several skill development courses for diploma holders, graduates, people from industries in various disciplines of Biological and Chemical sciences.  Basic Knowledge generation, hands on experience in operation and maintenance of sophisticated equipments are the highlights of the course.  The main aim of these courses is to create the high-quality skilled workforce relevant to current and emerging industry need in the S&T sector through training/skilling in diverse areas at different National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF). It further aims at promoting entrepreneurship through skilling, Training of Trainers and Incubation centre.

Bharat institute of Technology-Pharmacy (BIT) was established in the year 1999 by the CHMR Educational Society with the noble aim of imparting quality Pharmacy education to students aspiring to become responsible pharmacists and to cater to the needs of pharmacy profession. The college is situated in a sprawling 120 acres of campus situated 24 kms from the heart of the city. The focus of the architecture of the gigantic pharmacy building is to provide the right ambiance needed for the overall growth of both the students and faculty.

R. C. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Formerly known as R.C. Patel College of Pharmacy established in June 1992 with the aim to enhance the quality education in the field of Pharmacy and empower the quality pharmacist so that they serve the society to develop lifesaving drugs. Right from its establishment the institute has maintained the quality with assurance in terms of Accreditation from National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi (NBA) twice on 2005 and 2009 for the B. Pharm course. Institute also accredited by NAAC, Bangalore for the period of 5 years.

CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow, a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), the only institute of toxicology in the country contributing towards cutting-edge research and innovation in toxicology with the motto: “Safety to Environment and Health and Service to Industry”. CSIR-IITR has made an impact in addressing problems critical to human health & the environment as well as safety of chemicals/products. The institute has been involved in basic and applied research in diverse areas of toxicology and associated disciplines for over five decades. CSIR-IITR’s contributions in the field of toxicology have globally positioned CSIR among top five in Food, Industrial and Nanomaterial toxicology. The institute has received Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) compliance in June 2014 for toxicity and mutagenicity studies. GLP is an internationally accepted quality system under which pre-clinical health and environmental safety studies are performed. CSIR-IITR has established a “Centre for Innovation and Translational Research (CITAR)” to encourage impactful societal, industrial research and enable start-ups to foster collaborations with researchers to fast track technological solutions. The institute is equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentations and laboratories (NABL certified) such as Advanced Imaging Facility, Analytical Facility, Computational Toxicology Facility (the only facility for toxicology in India), Translational Research Facility, Cell & Molecular Biology Facility and Industrial Labs.

Established under the aegis of the Guru Nanak Institutions in 2006, the College has been a nurturing ground for pharmaceutical professionals. School Of Pharmacy GNITC is approved   by the AICTE and Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad with permanent affiliation. It is also approved by the UGC as an autonomous Institution .The Institute is further recognized u/s 2f & 12 B of UGC Act. The Institute offers a four year B. Pharm programme, six years Pharm D, and three year Pharm.D (PB) apart from two year M.Pharm programme.
