The Assam Rifles is the oldest paramilitary force of the Indian Army, dating back to 1835 under the British Raj, raised under the name Cachar Levy. The present name of Assam Rifles has been used since 1917. Over the course of its history, the Assam Rifles have served in a number of roles, conflicts and theatres including World War I, where they served in Europe and the Middle East, and World War II, where they served mainly in Burma. After the Chinese annexation of Tibet, the Assam Rifles were tasked with manning the Tibetan border of Assam Himalayan region.

District Health Society, Ramban is going to establish Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra (PMBJAK) at District Hospital Ramban and Block Banihal with the objective to make available quality generic medicines at affordable prices to all, particularly the poor and disadvantaged, through exclusive outlets Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras so as to reduce pocket expenses in healthcare. In this regard, District Health Society Ramban intends to hire only Registered Pharmacists (as per Central Act i.e.

The Laboratory was established in 1941 as a research and production centre, known as Drug Research Laboratory of J&K State and was later taken over by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of Govt. of India in December 1957 as Regional Research Laboratory, Jammu. In view of its core strength in natural products based drug discovery, the mandate of Institute was redefined in 2005 and its name changed to Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine.

In pursuance to Govt Order No 442-HME of 24.04.2019, applications for the below mentioned posts are hereby invited from the registered pharmacist for running Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra in District kathua on profit sharing basis.

Order No. 442 HME of 24-2019 & DMSJ/SCH/PMBJAK/3129-39, Dated 02- 01-2021 WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for the below mentioned requirement of Registered Pharmacists will be held on 23.08.2021 at 11 AM in the Office of Chief Medical Officer, District Administrative complex, Nandani Hills, Samba for establishment of Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadi Kendra to work on profit sharing on temporary basis.
