ABSTRACT
The study was aimed to evaluate the antacid properties of Curcuma Longa Linn rhizomes aqueous extract under simulated conditions. Fresh rhizomeof Curcuma Longa Linn was homogenized and dried under shade and thus mass obtained was powdered, weighed and subjected for the evaluation of antacid profile of the drug antacid properties of Curcuma Longa Linn was evaluated using carbondioxide evolution method & Rossette Rice test. The Curcuma Longa Linn rhizome extract showed significant results for antacid effect (P < 0.05) at different doses and the results obtained were comparable to that of standard NaHCO3. The results of the present study suggest that extract of  curcuma longa linn significantly neutralized acid and showed resistance against change in pH and also illustrate good antacid property The extract of curcuma longa linn, has shown to possess significant carminative and antacid property.

Abstract
Antiulcer activity of aqueous extracts of  Annona squamosa seed extract was studied in Rats by pyloric ligation method. The  extract at dose of 100,200 mg/kg produced significant inhibition of gastric lesion induced by Pylorus ligation induced ulcer. The parameters taken to assess anti-ulcer activity were volume of gastric secretion, PH, free acidity, total acidity and ulcer index. The results indicate  that the alcoholic extract significantly (P  < 0.001) decreases the volume of gastric acid secretion, PH, free acidity, total acidity and ulcer index with respect to control.

ABSTRACT
The main objective of the present work is to find out good pharmacological activities in herbal source with their preliminary phytochemical study, and also it is aimed to investigate of ethanol, and aqueous extracts of dried stem of plant Emblica Officinalis Gearthagainst with Anti-inflammatory and in rats, Analgesic activity in mice and antioxidant in invitro methods. Normally herbal products are free from side effects/adverse effects and they are low cost medicines, which will be beneficial for human being. The main objective of this work is to find active constituents which are potent Anti-oxidant, Anti-inflammatory, analgesic having no or minimum side effects from indigenous plants for the therapeutic management.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the diuretic activity of glycyrrhiza glabra linn (Mulethi) in experimental animals by following the standard procedure. Randomly selected animals were divided into three groups of six animals each. The root of glycyrrhiza glabra linn was administered orally in the form of Kwatha at a dose of 6.2 ml/kg and 12.3 ml/kg. Parameters like volume of urine, pH of urine and urinary electrolyte concentrations like sodium, potassium and chloride were studied. glycyrrhiza glabra linn Kwatha increased the urine output in a dose-dependent manner. However, it did not affect the urinary electrolyte concentrations. From the present study, it can be concluded that the root of glycyrrhiza glabra linn has diuretic property.

ABSTRACT
The aim of present study was to evaluate antihelmintic potential of crude extract of root of Butea monospermous using Pheretima posthuma as test worm. Butea monosperma is distributed all over India and has been used by triable as well a local people widely. Popularly known as 'dhak' or 'palas', commonly known as ‘Flame of forest’. It has been found to have antimicrobial, wound healing, antifungal, antidiarrhoeal, hypoglycemic, hepatoprotective, antioxidant, anti-convulsive, antistress, anti diabetic, anti-inflammatory activity. It also used in treatment of goiter, spermatorrhoea and antidote for snake bite. In the present work the aqueous and alcoholic extracts of flowers of Butea monosperma were evaluated for its antihelmintic activity against adult earthworms (Pheretima posthuma).

ABSTRACT:
The antitumor activity of the ethanolic extract of leaves of boerhaavia diffusa L. (EBD) has been evaluated against Dalton’s ascitic lymphoma (DAL) in Swiss albino mice at the dose of 250 & 500 mg/kg, body weight. The experimental parameters used were tumour volume, tumour cell count, viable tumour cell count, mean survival time and increase in life span to assess antitumour activity. The extract administered orally for 14 consecutive days to tumor bearing group of animals. The extract increase the life span of DAL treated mice and restore the hematological parameters as compared with the DAL bearing mice in dose dependant manner. The study revealed that the EBD showed significant antitumour activity in tested animal models.

ABSTRACTS
The aim of presents study is to evaluate antidiabetic (Hypoglycemic) effect of Gymnema Sylvestre extract in alloxan induced diabetic Swiss albino mice. These aqueous extract were used for the study. The Swiss albino mice weighing 25 to 30 gm were used for the study.  Mice were administered orally with the aqueous extracts of Gymnema Sylvestrewith dose of 200 mg/kg, 400 mg/kg and 500 mg/kg. body weight from period of day 1 to 28 days. The study reveals that the all the three doses shows the significant decrease in blood glucose level. This study shows the significant activity of gymnema sylvestre extracts against alloxan induced diabetes.  These prove the guava fruit is pancreatic protective and hypoglycemic in nature.

ABSTRACT
The present study was undertaken to explore the phytochemical screening & antimicrobial activity of stems of Glycyrrhiza Glabra L. (Leguminaceae). Glycyrrhiza Glabra L. were screened for their antimicrobial activity by agar well diffusion method, standard screening method & disc diffusion method. In the phytochemical screening showed presence of secondary metabolites, flavonides, glycosides & terpenoids. It is also showed potent against almost all the test organism.

Study indicate that Glycyrrhiza Glabra has antibacterial, antioxidant, antimalerial, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory and anti-hyper glycemic properties. Various other effects like antiulcer, antiviral, antihapatotoxic, antifungal and herpes simplex have also been studies. One of the most commonly reported side effects with licorice supplementation is elevated blood pressure.
